Reginald Smythe, or #1 is the latest patriarch in the long line of The Imposition. The Imposition has sworn to protect human kind from witchcraft. It is said that the Smythe family was given this task by a pope of Rome. Some say it was an ancient king that bestowed the charge. Whatever the real story is, the Smythe family takes it's job very seriously.
Kaelyn is the youngest member of The Imposition. As the daughter of the ill-fated Racheal, she is close to her grandfather and trainer, #1. She may find that the lines get a little blurry in the field, and somethings training can't prepare you for.
BJ, or Boyd Johnson, thinks himself the ladies man. He couldn't be more wrong, but that doesn't stop him from trying to woo the fairer sex when he can.
Kazom is a 3,000 year old genie. In order to conserve power and thereby extend his life, Kazom does as little magic as possible. He is bound in the form of the Clark family's cat and mostly just lays around Melvin's Room.
Red was a boy until a new genie tried to get Melvin a girlfriend. That's when the genie turned Red into a girl so Melvin could practice talking to girls, and forgot to turn her back before disappearing. Red is hopeful that her situation is only temporary.
They also probably have a containment field around Clamor to keep her from using her magic. I think I know where this story is going. Melvin, BJ, Red, Ida and Kazom are going to end up breaking BJ girlfriend out of that containment field with help from a rouge operative named Kaelyn who they just cut loose to fend for her own. They have basically disowned Kaelyn now and now she going to have to operate on her own now. What better way for her to recover than by going to Melvin and friend and telling what going on and save Clamor in the process.
That what I see going down here. Let save Clamor arc.
I once drove a cat around for about two months. At the beginning, she sat on my neck and leaned against the driver’s side window, facing forward all the time. By the end of it, she was so comfortable driving around she’d get up and wander around the car while it was going along.
I use to drive big rig trucks. The length of time I was out (on average), I sometimes get a little wacky when talking to people. Dispatch even remarked on it a couple times when I had to call in.
So I decided to get a cat. This way I can drive and have someone to talk to when out on long hauls. I could also tell dispatch I was talking to my cat when I was ‘sounding wacky’ ;D
Diesel (Yep, my cat’s name is Diesel) started driving with me as soon as he was old enough to leave mom. and was SO use riding in the truck, he went everywhere inside (even found a few hiding places inside the truck). To this day, whenever I have to take my cats anywhere, Diesel still loves to roam inside my Dodge Ram. My other cat hates traveling with a passion.
For a junior-grade, beginner witch, he’s sure overestimating his own abilities. But then, he’s a kid.
And I think Kazom’s starting to lose it a little; he should be able to handle a little thing like carsickness. Conjure up a Dramamine, for chrissake!
There is a bright spot to all this, though; now that Spy-girl’s been dumped by her old crowd, she might be ripe for recruitment by the gang, here. As long as no one else gets to her, first.
I will be in hope that Melvin will make an accidental wish that Clamor doesn’t miss the date with BJ, so pops out of containment.
Me too – or something like it.
I too hope for something like that.

Where do I sign up to Help Save Clamor?
I love that Kitty..
What is that white thing on Melvin’s head?
Also, “someone WITH take you out” seems to be missing a word. (Or “will” is misspelled.)
Melvin has his window down. His bangs are blowing in the wind.

Bach-Mann: Panel 1: “ENDEVOUR” -> endeavor.
Thank you Milady. 8)
“Milady”… Ooooh – chivalry is not dead! Yeek – I’m getting goosebumps! 😉
That agent’s team is just leaving her there? That’s cold!
Also Kazom better clean up his mess other Ida is going to skin him, magic powers or not!
Looks like Kazom’s real power is making a mess of things.
Hey, Melvin; Overconfident much?

Like how you used the panel frame to stand in for the car window that Melvin has his arm partly out of.
