If Melvin had made it clear from the beginning that they only wanted to use the Quat Azoth, instead of keeping it, “Dick” might be a little more amenable to their request. And I mean “a little”.
This is what I was saying in my comment above. In our vanity, we all think of ourselves looking better than we really are, and this is Melvin’s interpretation of himself, more mature and more handsome.
Melvin is smart, but sometimes he misses the mark.
Dick has had things his way for quite a while. Perhaps he’s overconfident.

Robert, panel 3; it reads “You know who am I.” that sounds more like a question. I think it should read “You know who I am”.
Whoops, yup, missed that transposition. It’s a common mistake for native Spanish speakers when writing english, and my brain just ran right past it.
Melvin looks like he has aged some, or is that just how he sees himself (being more mature than he really is) being reflected here?
Dick: “I need you alive, not whole” sounds like a good retort right now.
Also, when did male Melvin become hot? I thought he was kinda nerd, plain looking.
Male Melvin seems to be a bit hippy and his hair has grown to match his female forms.
It’s Melvin’s mental image of himself. Maybe he’s more buff than normal because he sees himself as more attractive than he actually is?
