Panel 4 doesn’t need a change. “I could swear” is a common vernacular alternative to “I could have sworn”.
I’ll fix the typo in panel 1, though.

Evidently so. Now that we know that Melvin can turn into a girl now, I suppose that we will see more of that now.
Personally, I would like to see Red roping Melvin into a “girls’ day out”, with an argument of something like “If I have to put up with it, YOU have to put up with it too”.
Perhaps Melvin is only good at DISGUISING himself as a Girl—rather than an actual transformation. His clothing looks like a feminized version of what he was wearing as a boy.
Also note–NO cleavage—perhaps another indication of a disguise
Considering that BJ’s now got a whole new hairdo, I think some magical transformation definitely happened here.
And remember, Melvin has been exposed to Port-Hole for who knows how long. He may have gained some magical knowledge from that ancient book.

I think Melvin was actually just about to call him Johnny Bravo, but self-corrected mid-word to avoid making the obvious reference. “Broidly” sounds suspiciously like a combination of “Bravo and “Boyd” (BJ’s first name).
Is that genie a reference to Desiree in Danny Phantom?
