BJ and JJ must be pretty close if he told her about Clamor. And yeah, i’m agreeing with whomever said JJmight have a crush on Red.
@Jacqui: I doubt that BJ volunteered anything. She probably snooped on him & found out on her own.
Or eavesdropped when he was telling someone else.
JJ got almost everything right, except BJ is the primary reason the Clamor is staying around if she able to do it.
In panel two we have Marvin as a girl and Red as a Cat girl. Everybody else we know.
I was just thinking, in panel two, we are looking at JJ day dreaming at what Melvin would look like if he were a girl and what Red would look like if she were a cat girl. There no telling what else she was day dreaming and smiling about in panel three or dreaming about Clamor. Who knows what goes on in some crazy girls head.
Actually, considering the title, I think those aren’t daydreams, but memories of what has actually happened.

Got to feel a bit bad for BJ, as he thinks that Clamor dumped him when the reason that no one has seen her was that the MIB kidnapped her and are holding her. I wished someone had seen them take her and would say something about it so that she would be saved before she is forgotten.
About the only person that knows what happened to Clamor and that MIB grabbed or kidnapped her is the girl they ditched or basically disowned and they choose not to have anything more to do with her now. I am betting that she going to take this real personal like and get really mad at then for leaving her like that. That she probably going to rat on them or even change side on them, then tell Melvin and crew who captured her and where there located too. This girl will also know where there headquarter are too and where the holding tank is or jail that there keeping Clamor at. So Clamor not going to be forgotten and girl that got disowned by these jerks, isn’t going to forget either. But, it might be awhile before she fined Melvin and crew to tell them, but, when she does, I have no doubt that it will make a great story in the future, the rescue of Clamor by Melvin, BJ, Red and Kazom.
Right now, Carlos has a lot on his plate right now, so it might be awhile before we get back to Clamor rescue. I suggest to Carlos that he not pull too much stuff out at all at the time or he will end up with jumble mess. It will probably take a 100 post or more to deal with all the issue that Melvin Chronicle has to deal with right now. I suggest you pick then off one at a time, don’t try to crowd then together all at once.

Since Clamor is Lorion’s familiar I will bet that her is looking for her and will join or even lead the rescue party. Now if Jean would just do a short crossover she would swap Clamor and Kaelyn in a mind swap AKA Sailor Sun and Kaelyn would become Lorion’s new familiar and Clamor would become BJ,s hot new girlfriend. Problem solved.
I don’t think it going to work that way. But, I wouldn’t mind if a cat girl showing up, that look s lot like BJ with long hair and pair of DD size boobs on her. Now that might explain why BJ missing Clamor so badly. He hasn’t spent enough time with her yet and there something else in the back story to cause that response in BJ about missing Clamor. It would have everybody waiting for the back story to see what happened between Clamor and BJ without going into any detail immediately. Clamor daughter could end of as Melvin familiar. Daughter like mother here. Everybody would know that Clamor got rescued and Carlos can throw pieces of the back story in every so often, just to keep things interesting. You don’t have to go into too many details, just say Clamor a Cat and she went into HEAT and BJ just happened to be there when it happened. End of story.

Also, how long has JJ known about Kazom? I mean, the words “all those years” sorta implies that she’s been in on this for a while.
Thomas Clark (Melvin’s father) was last seen when Melvin was nine years old.

We can probably assume that Thomas’ apparent demise (and Kazom coming to watch over Thomas’ wife and child) happened before too many months had passed after that. Given that the present scene is the start of Melvin’s Sophomore year of high school, that would mean that Kazom has been present for five or six years. If BJ has been friends with Melvin since back then, then it very well may be that JJ has known about Kazom since early on.
Calling the cat girl your older brother had feelings for a monster girl is not a smart thing to do… even if it *is* sort of an accurate description LOL
She may not be aware of how BJ feels about Clamor. Or she may just be self-absorbed enough not to care.
Third option. Maybe she thinks it’s a compliment.
I like the way this girl thinks.
