I guess he hasn’t forgotten what happened the LAST time he went into his dad’s book, which explains the pants. and how did JJ know a bit of Naruto/Boruto history? I asked cause she knew 1 of the Jutsus.
JJ has been established as being an anime/video game fan, so she has probably seen quite a bit of Naruto, and has also picked up a bunch of anime-related Japanese phrases, even if she can’t actually understand the language.
Also, I see that we have a Jeeves Marks cameo/reference here. (Bay’s fiance’ from Sailorsun.org) Melvin might be more respectful of the notebook if he knew that it belonged to the stepfather of his favorite actress (Honey).
In addition to what ijuinkun has said, JJ is always snooping around into BJ, Melvin and Tiffany stuff to find out what going on also. JJ is the ultimate bratty sister that always getting into her older brother stuff ti see what going on and his best friends stuff too. She also keep her own personal Diary on the subject also, so won’t forget anything. So, yes, she going to know things that you would not expect her know otherwise.
Hah, I didn’t even notice that reference! Nice catch.
“Bring me my brown pants!” LOL
Oh, your waiting for Melvin to make another mistake are you? Which he probably will. One of the main drivers in the plot of the Melvin Chronicle, is Melvin and his mistakes, because, he is immature and doesn’t know any better.
I wonder just who lost a pair of pants?
Worked at a Yacht club, you’d be surprised how many people leave/lose such things. Actually the worse is how many people lose shoes. Cleaned out 10 years of shoes in the lost and found, I could open a store.
Yeah, but at school?
Probably took them off to change for gym glass, then accidentally went home in their gym shorts.
Well, I am going to be perfectly honest, is not that weird. I can actually come up with plenty of rational and quite frankly boring explanations as to how and why someone would loss a pair of Pants on a high school. And again, nothing wrong or weird about it, it would be perfectly rational and completely boring.
But I wouldn’t do that, and just let you imagine what kind of far more interesting and wacky scenario led to that poor soul to loss their pants.
I’ve had pants, and other clothing articles, outright stolen from the locker during gym class (stupid built-in low-quality combination locks). Often thieves will just steal the wallet, phone, and other valuables from the pockets and toss the pants themselves aside.
