And here’s this chapter’s title card! These will be making a comeback for all future chapters. This one was just delayed to avoid spoiling Kazom’s human form.
But who’s the mysterious blonde?

The mysterious blonde?
Oh, that’s Jane. She’s the secretary.
Nice cover but is it just me or are Red’s boobs glowing blue? If It’s a new shading effect I apologize for misinterpreting it.
I just realized that Melvin is inundated with blue glow, probably indicative of him being a powerful witch. But in addition to the pink glow coming off Red (probably Jeanie’s magical signature), Red’s boobs also have some blue glow… š
EDIT: Heh, Armiture noticed the same thing at about the same time as I did.
Red’s overall glow looks light purple to me but that’s a color perception problem I have with certain shades of pink. It’s weird because plain bubblegum and erasers do look pink to me, so does that pinkest pink stuff that’s the next hottest thing to vanta black in the art world.
Note: I say color perception problem because I have tested as not being color blind in any way so it’s not that.
Melvin has a blue aura, because he’s the Blue Wizard.
Red has a pink aura, because she was transformed by Jeannie’s pink poofs.
And her boobs have a touch of blue around them because Melvin worked his magic on them.
Poor Red has such a sad look. I hope she finds a boyfriend who can cheer her up.
I suspect, my dear Kattgirl, that Red would prefer a girlfriend instead. Especially if it makes her parents angry.
Actually, I see Red as a switch hitter. She still has the desire to be a boy and have a girlfriend, but, she alto a modal who fashion close for little girls in magazines. It still fashionable for female modal to be with male modal in magazine setting and on live set or when presenting young girl clothing or prom dress for a high school dance.
@Larry – I honestly think Red would only do things with a guy under the two following conditions: 1) the guy is gay, and 2) it’s a modeling job. Basically, like Ash and Kay in Misfile, though I see Red being more subtle than Ash in certain areas. I honestly see no reason why Red would be anything other than (the way s/he looks at it) straight.
Side question – what are the proper pronouns to refer to Red/Clarence/Tiffany? He/him/his, or she/her/hers?
I would go with feminine pronouns, unless you’re specifically referencing Clarence as separate from Tiffany.
@He Who Abides:
Back before Carlos took over, I would have agreed with you. But, 1) Red is definitely adapting to her new form, and showing a lot of feminine traits, and 2) she’s at the age where a huge surge of hormones should be kicking in; remember the effect on Natalie when her brain chemistry got messed with? My bet is that Tiffany is, maybe without realizing it, going to start finding boys a lot more attractive.
As to making her parents angry, don’t worry; boys have already got that technique down, pat. Her father will probably buy a shotgun.
And if she REALLY gets mad at her parents, she might see getting pregnant as a way of taking revenge. It’s happened.
Agreed, it appropriate to refer Red or Tiffany in the female gender, because, she is being identified as a girl. But, when we are using Clarence or referring to her in the in Tranny form or in the past when she was a he, then it would appropriate to use he instead of she.
The same things goes for Jeanie too. There are some people refer to Jeanie as a he and not a she too. So some people shorten Jeanie to Jean so they can refer to Jeanie as a Guy and not as a girl. But, what few people here seam to realize is that both Jeanie and Jean are female name of female spelled names. The Male spelling for Jean is Gene. At least most men that I know that call themselves Jean spell it that way that I know of and I have met maybe to of them now.
@Kattgirl
If Tiffany did get pregnant, and by Melvin – wouldn’t that be a combination of magics?
@Kattgirl – you do make some good points, though I hesitate to rely on Natalie’s attraction shenanigans as evidence (as I doubt that was Jean’s intention). I still feel that Red would prefer a girlfriend to a boyfriend just due to her previous existence as Clarence, though I admit we have no idea what his orientation was. That said, Tiffany was in puberty when this comic started, and was incredibly turned on first by a woman (Ida, in point of fact), so I suspect that she’ll be closer to Bisexual Homoromantic than either Homosexual or Heterosexual.
Also, not all boys know how to irritate their romantic interest’s parents. I never knew that trick. At least, not that I know of, anyway; my in-laws-to-be could still turn out to have some long con planned, but they’ve had ~20 years to spring their masterstroke on me, soooooo . . .
@Larry
Jean is also a male name, especially in French-speaking nations and regions. OTOH, as far as I know Jean grew up speaking American English. TGHI, the first time Neil addressed Jean by that name, it was right after he mentally used the feminine pronoun.
Also red and blue mixed together is Purple which both a color of POWER AND ROYALTY. And she IS the Princess?
Iām not apologizing
So I guess Reds breasts have grown back to the size they were before? Or are they even bigger now?
Apparently. I’m sure all the guys here are greatly relieved.
Yeah, it was explained in a canon “filler” strip written by CD Rudd, which we posted a few weeks ago.
I would think they are as big as Melvin remembers them to be.
Yes, us guys see things just a little different than what reality really show us. If we see girls with little boobs, we say she look like a board further making her boobs smaller in our minds of course. If see a girl with big boobs, we say she really had big boobs and may actually increase the size of her boobs in our minds eye, so she may one or two sixes bigger in the coup size than she really did have.
Did Melvin up the size of Red boobs unconsciously or course? Don’t know!
Oooohhh… I do believe we’re getting a look at Nellah’s human form.
Hey, Carlos – I absolutely LOVE that font used – is that something you created?
If not, would you be willing to share the name?
The font is called Magic School .
I am honestly are really bad with fonts, so sometimes I just look for the most literal names when I need something like this. Glad you like it, even though this is the second time I use it for the comic, I wasn’t so sure about it.
Like Brad/Bay on Sailor Sun I think her hormones will re-wire her thought process into liking boys. OH and one more thing. Red, do not bend over in that skirt. You will cause a traffic accident.
That was Tom, not hormones. He rewrote her preferences when he had to delete “Dixie”.
