Tiffany "Red" ThorntonRed was a boy until a new genie tried to get Melvin a girlfriend. That's when the genie turned Red into a girl so Melvin could practice talking to girls, and forgot to turn her back before disappearing. Red is hopeful that her situation is only temporary. Comics: 226 |
I knew it, the Red email to Melvin and BJ so that they can see what going on with Liam with the face mask too.
Called it last strip about the face stuff.

Hard to have a serious conversation with these guys. But I guess, given the topic, it’s hard to ever have a serious conversation about it.
How old is Red again? Who needs a beauty regimen at that age? Something else from her “asshole dad” or other parent, I guess…would Ida do it? Id’a know…
Red’s a teen so there are zits to worry about.
As it was explained to me by someone who applied this stuff to herself, a good skin care regimen starts early to keep the beauty for as long as possible. Once it starts to fade, there’s no going back.
Now, whether or not any particular regimen is effective is an entirely different question.
Did the bottle of green stuff explode or something?! Its in Red’s hair!
No it didn’t explode, but Red may have gotten some of the green stuff in her hair. Usually when a girl does face mask like this, they usually pull there hair back or even put on one of those plastic caps to keep it out of her hair. Red didn’t do that, so she will have to wash her out after she washes her face off.
Methinks Red has misunderstood what Ida told her about the routine. Red, you aren’t supposed to use all of those at the same time!
She’ll hopefully know to pull her hair back after she washes.
So Ida wasn’t orig scheduled to be the Scarlet Avenger at Liam’s. That was kind of her to switch places; though she is a former model and could have been drawn to the limelight as well.
You can glean that from what Ida was saying in “Red’s Tough Break”. She did it because she knew Red was too new to the business to be ready to handle that kind of a situation. Apparently, she saw the “script” given to her by Liam (which had her acting like a cosplaying whore) and stepped in, with the intent of putting the Fear of Ida into him.
What’s “S.A.”?
I took it to mean Scarlet Avenger, being they are referring to Ida and that was what she was wearing.
That’s the name of the Warmallet character that Red models as? Where’s that mentioned? I must have missed it.
I remember it from the launch on the flyer and have seen it a number of times in the tags. Also the title of Liam’s take down was ‘The Scarlet Revenger’, referring to Ida.

I’m guessing an amalgam of Youtube and Twitter. This world’s version of social media.
Ah. Thought it was a misspelling of Skeeter, like that character on the old tv show. Figured we were getting yet another character tossed in without any background or reason to exist.
From what I can tell Ida exists as Red’s handler, (a reason), and Helga is on staff in Red’s house, (another reason), and Red’s mom is, Red’s mom. It completely makes sense to me we would have run into Red’s mom and Helga, being the injury took place outside Red’s house. Red deals with these people on a daily basis. What it has provided for me is more background into Red.

I just wanted to post here to say that I am really starting to like the directions that Bach-mann is taking this story. I really hope that you do have a plan for an end of the story, as too many comics that I have followed have petered out with no resolution. That being said, I will enjoy the ride for as long as it takes me. 🙂
