Mary ThorntonMary is an intelligent, beautiful woman who found herself the trophy wife of a prominent Hollywood producer. With her son transformed into a female, she sees it as a happy situation that could possibly bring them closer to each other. Comics: 19 |
Tiffany "Red" ThorntonRed was a boy until a new genie tried to get Melvin a girlfriend. That's when the genie turned Red into a girl so Melvin could practice talking to girls, and forgot to turn her back before disappearing. Red is hopeful that her situation is only temporary. Comics: 226 |

Arg. I was keeping half an eye on an active multiplayer game that I was in. Got distracted and failed to properly re-read my edits.
Mom knows how to get things done. give it up Red you can’t win. She is to smart.
So Mary’s old pal casted a spell to make people forget her son ever existing as such?
Sheesh, no wonder Red has issues. In a way, his own family condemned him to magical damnatio memoriae.

An expectedly precious princess for a wretchedly cruel queen, commanding the lay down of brick & mortar for the castle that is her way which her subordinate subjects dare not undermine.
Clearly Jeanie was not the only reality editor she had to worry about, there’s ever more entrenched along this traitorous path of careless weeds.
Clarence’s so called allies are perpetually painting her a thorn-torn, rosy Red against her will & desire to blossom back to her once familiar roots.
Seems that if Red ever did get turned back it would be even harder to change things back to prove Red was not always a girl.
That would only be the case if Mary was unwilling to re-pull the same strings that altered every affected person’s memories in the first place. Assuming this caster is still willing to comply Clarence would be able to return to ‘normal’ more or less. There’s still a lot of unlikelihoods though, since the caster may hail from the same brand of narcissistic intolerance as Jeanie & Mary – could be a one & done request, no refund.
If things don’t go by as if Jeanie’s spell was just a bygone phase of reality never to be acknowledged by anyone else again, Clarence would have to remain absent from much of their public life while living as Red. Or at least long enough to reasonably corroborate a transition while away so it’s not so sudden & keep up maintenance of a consistent story to anyone that inevitably asks. That would grow tiresome real fast, I’m sure.
Most of the people that Mary knows or associated with didn’t know that Mary had a son, because, she pretty much kept him a secrete from everyone. About the only people that knew about the existence of Clarence was the immediate family, Marvin, BJ and the people at the high school, that those three went to. So Clarence was already pretty much an invisible person right from the get go. That not going to be that way with Tiffany, she TV commercial, a highly visible model for selling girls clothing, a model for some game that everyone want to have. In a years time, it going to be really hard to disappear Tiffany from the public eye the way that they can disappear Clarence from the public eye.
Although, Mary did say that they would use magic to do it, to do it that fast, you would almost certainly have to use magic to do it that fast and rubbing out of large mass numbers of people memories. Also locating Tiffany in another high school and an all girl high school too. Would go a long way to achieving Mary goal of erasing Clarence from people memories. With the exception of Marvin, BJ and few other and few family member, Clarence will basically disappear in a years time. For Mary to totally be successful in remaking Clarence into Tiffany, the question is, can she erase Clarence from her daughter mind and put Tiffany in her daughter mind. Magic is probably about the only thing that could completely do that.
NO, I don’t see Mary undoing this even if she could, because, she got what she want now and she not going to turn it lose, like never.
