Red’s First Steps: Page 07
Here’s where we left off Red’s little origin story. Though, we are also looking even further back, not just back to her first steps, but to her very first night! And finally re-introducing her father back into the story, in the flesh! He… may seem a little different to what some may have remembered, or expected, if you follow my work. But hey, he at least seems trustworthy! Right?
Thank you for the new update, it looks like we will finally be getting some info on how Red’s family took the change and what they were thinking when he arrived home a she.
trustworthy my butt! that guy looks like a member of the Mafia than a producer!
My thougts, as well! And with minions named “Mickey” and “Fingers”, that just sounds even MORE likely!
Dunkels were much more practical: https://www.egscomics.com/comic/2002-06-18
First question should’ve been “Is it permanent”?
The Dunkels are completely unflappable, though.
That last line that the father said, was really funny in the egs comics.
It not like he didn’t know that his son was turned into a girl, after all it been over a year since it happened and he even file a name change and enrolled her into an all girl school and he helped set her up in modeling and into a model too. Unless, this is one of those flashbacks where there bringing everything up to date.
The Dunkels are beyond unflappable in deliberately mysterious ways. They’re also a wonderfully accepting and supportive and Mister D can produce instant flip charts. I’m hoping Henry turns out to be a more nuanced character than the tired old “antagonist dad” stereotype.
And yes, Larry, this is a flashback. Red is looking at herself in the mirror and flashing back to her first encounter with her father after her change. It becomes obvious if you use the “Red’s First Steps” or the “Red’s Room” tag to put the comics in sequence. Though his initial failure to spot her change would make a bit more sense with CD’s original preteen version of Red’s character model, which was immature enough to hide her sex change with a hat and baggy clothes. Looking back I noticed Red’s clothes get inexplicably “girlified” (shorter an tighter) about halfway through the dance.
Well, Red or Tiffany cloth getting really girly within the week that he became a girl was already given thing to happen. Because, as soon as they knew that Clarence had turned into Tiffany, they took her down and bought her all knew feminine clothing and just as girly as they could get it too. The threw away all her older male cloths, they enrolled her in an all girl school, got a job modeling teen female clothing for the people that sell female clothing to teenager. She also does other thing that require female to be there as in video games and such thing as that. The only male clothing that Tiffany has and that assuming that Mary her mother has not found them, is the male clothing that she raided from Melvin Closet. Mary trashed all the other male clothing that Tiffany had prior to her becoming a girl, because, of Jeanie transforming him into a girl.
where’s the next update?
