Hey kids, I get the idea that if she had said “pinky swear”, he would have, inter-locked pinkies and all.
Now, go become inter-locked with the voting process!
Sincerely,
BACH-MANN & Shhadow
Once again, into the breach…or is it breech? Well, anyway, it’s “promise” with a final “e” on the end, unless Melvin speaks with a lisp…
Also, it should be “too hard” not “to hard.”
It’s “breach”– a gap in a fortification or line of soldiers.
A “breech” is the rear end of something, like the breech of a gun, or a breech birth, where the baby presents ass-first rather than head first (very bad, that).
I regret I have no good mnemonic for distinguishing them.
Ok Prince get in there and kiss her to wake her up.
Nah, he just needs to wish her well. The kiss might be something BJ would do for show, but Melvin isn’t that sort of guy. It will be interesting if Melvin goes to the hospital with Saachi and Holly wakes up to see them together . . .
I’m hoping Mr. Wizard finds out what the heck is going on before fixing anything or making any more wishes. Sheesh, that’s a hair-trigger spell talent he’s got there.
No we don’t want Melvin doing that. It make for a better story line and causes more trouble that way, that needs to be fix. Actually, things are going just fine.
“Skitter”….heh….I like that better than Twitter. Does that mean they call it “Skeeting”?
My rhyming dictionary lists eighteen words that rhyme with “Twitter”—and I can think of one not listed that begins with “s” and “h.” You can imagine what they call it from there…
It also makes you wonder how long she was laying out on her front porch in little more than a T-shirt before her family found her. Melvin needs to realize just how dangerous his power is and start watching what he thinks.
How do you watch what you THINK?
Using the mind’s eye?
