The emotional aspects alone of maintaining two different lives each day has got to be exhausting for Red.

Requires facts not in evidence, although it’s probably safer to say that boys are genetically predisposed to liking video games.
The impression that I have is that girls prefer social dynamics and role playing, including exploration/adventure games; while boys prefer combat games. Prof. Wiki mentions that girls are more likely to play when there is at least one boy present.
Still, I suspect that Red is zonked because nobody’s coming up with anything worth talking about, and the point about dealing with girls as a girl is very well taken.

I don’t know how Red can fall asleep while sitting, I can never get comfortable enough in that position.
Anyone else think Melvin looks tiny, even his head seems smaller than the others. I guess he hasn’t had a growth spurt yet.
I was noticing that Red seems taller than the other two. Either the artist is going for the triangle formulation or we’ve all missed that sudden height differential.
Not all of us.
Red is larger than Melvin and BJ. Others noticed, mentioned, and discussed that previously. In this strip, I noticed it a tiny bit more, but realized Red is sitting erect and right in the middle, where, at least from my experience with cushion couches, no one usually settles in. If given a choice, most people will tend toward the corner seats for extended periods, causing them to dip. Looking at their positioning, in relation to one another, the bit of size difference makes senve to me.
Kazom plays Skyrim, he has gathered all the words for Bend Will shout and now rides a dragon he has Bent Will of! Ha! By the way, it takes a lot of skill to gather all words for this shout before level 27, so props to Kazom!
And we have a winner! But then who could expect any less from a dovahkiin? 😉
And it also takes a lot of skill to do it with paws, no less!

Red is still sitting like a guy. Seems she hasn’t started to sit cross legged female style yet. I am glad to see she can relax around her friends.
SGT, I don’t think it’s a matter of relaxing, it’s a matter of sitting like a guy all his life. Don’t know if she’s going to be able to learn otherwise anytime soon.
[Unless there’s some pelvic structural dealie that makes it easier for men and women to sit the way they do.)

girls are a little wider in the pelvus after puberty. Not having the twig and berries in the way helps with crossing their legs. Red sleeping like that is probably a balance issue. If her legs were crossed she would end up laying against one of her buddies.
And the problem with that would be…?
For some rpg guy Liam must be pretty hard core to have spies everywhere. Maybe they could have Kazom become a member of their club, he seems to be good at how to train your dragon, I wonder how he’d do a tabletop rpg games.
He’s a 3000 year old genie. He probably knows more about strategy and tactics by now than Sun Tsu, Robert E. Lee, and Suleiman the Magnificent combined.
That was said from BJ’s perspective. Liam has been referred to as evil, a black voodoo munchkin, etc. Melvin says, his reign must end. What’s clear to me is the way Melvin, BJ and Red view him….an evil, powerful, ruler, with minions everywhere.

But if you mention Lee, you also have to bring in Grant and his generals.
Not saying Grant was any slouch, but Lee did more with fewer resources. I think most military historians agree that Lee was amazing. And, I’m saying this as a person born and raised in the North. Also, I was trying to keep the list short . . . 😉

It LOOKS like they’ve found another team member for their quest. “Hello, we’d like to enter the tournament. This talking cat is part of our group”. It occurs to me that as a show of solidarity for their friend, they could pick a day no one has any obligations and have the cat genie turn them all into girls for that day and have a party or something. Just to bond with their friend, show “Red” that she/he isn’t “the odd one out” but that they’re all bros still. The cat genie can undo his own magic, after all, so even if “Red” can’t go back, they can become girls temporarily just as a token of friendship and bonding.
