Depending on how long this story takes, Holly may wake up from her Berserker state. At which point she will find herself with Melvin’s twin sister and Red, wonder how that will go.
Or male Melvin with a Tiffany whose top clothes have been torn in the middle of a passionate act. Hilarity ensues.
“Who are you?”
What kind of question is that at this point? Are you telling me neither Melvin of Red know about Kazom’s backstory?
Well, technically it’s only Red asking who Kazom is, but presumably, she’s known about Melvin’s genie for years, at least.
So either Tiffany has genuinely lost her memories of Kazom, for some reason, or else she’s speaking figuratively, as in, “Just who the hell are you, really?”, meaning, “Fill us in on the history, Kazom.”
Oh interesting. I didn’t expect such a take.
My reaction to that question is that Red thinks this isn’t Kazom. Some sort of imposter, perhaps?
Note: Hollum does not tell me unrevealed plot details, so I have no advanced knowledge of what Red’s really thinking.
That’s an intriguing possibility, Robert. Now that you mention it, it does seem odd for Kazom to refer to Holly dispassionately, as “the mortal girl”, rather than by name. He’s not usually that high-and-mighty sounding, and it seems like she picked up on that.
I do believe you’re right; that’s not Kazom. Good catch.
Red’s pose in Panel 3 reminds me of one Fujiko Mine often has to strike in the Lupin 3rd anime. Their figures are similar, too!
