166: It Was a Good Shirt, Too!
Seems that Red had a score to settle, there…
Okay, I am extremely sorry for the delay on this one, guys. It was a complicated weekend, between compromises and issues outside my control. Still, the schedule remains. Unless the sky falls on me again, the next page is still coming this weekend!
Is Red the ‘Kirk’ of the trio?
Nah, Kirk would have been trying to bed Holly. 😉
The night is still young.
I only saw 1 spelling error. it’s Good Riddance, not God Riddance.
I counted four, plus one punctuation error which hasn’t been corrected as of this composition. Apparently there were two punctuation absence errors that I didn’t notice. All in the last panel. 🙂
Why does she owe her a dress? The shirt and bra I can understand, but why the dress too?
Because this isn’t the first time Holly’s shown up and bad magic things have happened.
The party that Melvin had to brainwash everyone into thinking was wilder than it was, worked out that way because Holly showed up.
Unfortunately, that was mainly dealt wi5 as an off-panel incident, just after the writer change
Red–or should we officially start saying “Tiff”, since I find it ly unlikely she’ll want to lose her OWN powers at this point?–probably found her dress to get destroyed then too.
I think that should be classed as a halter top or blouse not a shirt. Both are much more feminine than a shirt. But, after ruining Red’s top and bra, I would say Holly owes her a dress too.
I would have called it a crop top. I think Red still has some verbal habits to un-learn, like calling a it a ‘shirt’ instead of a top. But she’s pretty pissed, so I can understand.
I would say you are right, but it is definitely not a shirt. I had to go back a few links to see it before it was ripped apart. I was more surprised that those bar straps weren’t cutting into her skin with the stress being put on them.
Well, there are some (few, fortunate) women who have breasts that are simultaneously both large and firm. Particularly when they’re still in their ‘teens and gravity has not yet taken its toll. (My college roommate was one. 38DD and could go braless. Lucky bitch. 😉 )
Of course, since Red got her figure through magic, rather than from Mother Nature, such rules may not apply to her.
Did Red just exhibit some magic ability? There is a colored halo around Holly, and a punch that hard would break her jaw and neck in reality. Colored halos have been used in the past the denote magic or magic sight.
Very possibly. I’m hoping that Red does have magic powers, but it’s more likely the halo is the spell(s)/influence Holly is under. Though in panel three there is a red glow inside the yellow halo that not there in panel four, so maybe both?
Let’s just hope that Holly’s landing is softer than her air speed into that room would suggest.
I get the impression that the “halo” is more like speed lines. But punching someone hard enough to make them fly through a door with *speed lines* is also pretty magical, heh.
Glad to see red is keeping up with her ballet training. Really comes in handy when she needs to kick something. 😀
