Holly is Melvin's crush. After the genie incident, Holly is aware that Melvin likes her, but there is a little too much strangeness surrounding Melvin and his friends for Holly's liking.
That little kid isn’t a regular little kid, but, is masquerading as a little kid so she can inside, because, she would not be able to get inside otherwise. She using Holly and her friend to get inside this gateway to some place else like Salem, New Jersey where Melvin, BJ and Tiffany. We haven’t seen JJ yet and I am sure she here somewhere too.
I’m placing my gold pieces on Red’s Mom being on the other end of the call.
And yes, strange little girl who is not Melvin’s sister, it is a tiny magic mirror. But ironically, Ida paid extra for it because it’s not as small as some. Now answer Holly’s question: how do you know Melvin was here? ‘Cause apparently you’re wrong about him being here still…
The Answer to how she knew was here is. She either saw him go in there or she is following Melvin like a dog get the sent of the person that they want to track down or follow. So she knows that Melvin was there and she didn’t see him leave by normal means, so that leave magic as the way that Melvin left the building.
Eashiqa knows he was in there because she was in there earlier, as a shadow (https://melvin.jeaniebottle.com/?comic=119-get-your-priorities-straight). What Holly’s asking is implying that Eashiqa’s story as the theoretical little sister number 2 is not holding water. I’m wondering if she’s going to lie more, repeat the previous lies, or panic.
Eashiqa (the little kid) is freaking out in her head about the little magic mirror that Ida is using to call “the Old Man.” Now, I am going to think about who she will think the “Old Man” is based on this mistaken belief. This may be very entertaining or cause her to do something stupid or stupid bad soon.
That’s good to hear. If it’s anything like the colds I’ve had, it’ll be four to eight days of feeling like utter crap followed by one to two weeks of feeling better, but not really, followed by slowly feeling meh to not so meh to O.K.
One would think so. But I can think of two possible real-world plot mechanisms: there’s the possibility of half-siblings that Melvin only recently found out about, or perhaps his parents adopted an orphan…
Sure, neither one seems likely, but the possibility may be enough for Holly to decide not to just shout, “But Melvin has no sister!”
I don’t know who’s on the other side of the call, but he/she’s making Ida UBER pissed off right now.

JJ was with Ida the last time we saw her, so she’s probably either still in the shop, or she will be following Ida soon.

I would bet that the “old man” is Mary’s old man, i.e. Grandpa Walsh, the current head of the Walsh clan of witches.
Apologies for the delay on this week’s page, folks. Hollum is really ill.
Is it the ‘Rona?
No, he said he tested negative for that. Just a bad cold of some sort.

Sorry to hear that.
Take care of yourself Hollum and get well. Your health comes first, we can wait.
Just a thought… doesn’t Holly know Melvin doesn’t have a sister? They’ve known each other a long time.
