Though she can be arrogant, she is fiercely devoted with a kind heart. She became Lorion's familiar after the death of his previous one. KazomKazom is a 3,000 year old genie. In order to conserve power and thereby extend his life, Kazom does as little magic as possible. He is bound in the form of the Clark family's cat and mostly just lays around Melvin's Room. Comics: 157 |

Well, it look like Kazom isn’t the only one that got reduced to looking like a cat. I assume that this was the result of the last major battle that Kazom hat with other cat looking creature when Melvin dad was still around. I know that Kazom choose being a cat figure to save on magical power that a Genie has to put out.
Who else is getting the feeling that it is less of a case of Kazom not being impressed, and more of a case of trying to warn Guano not to let his successes go to his head.
Perhaps they could djinn something up…

Pervishness aside, the real question is, does Kazom think like a cat or a humanoid?
I guess the longer you stay in a form, the more you think that way. Take the character of Ranma from the anime Ranma 1/2 for example. He was born male and spent most of his life that way then along comes a chinese water curse that temporarily turns him female. While in female form she worries more about her complexion and tends to get flirty when she wants something. Back in male form and its all tough guy stuff.
