# 37 Turn-A-Ment : Hot Lady Dog
Hey kids, nothing like a good interspecial joke to drum up a hunger!
We would like to thank our newest patron, Roy Menix! We are now up to two! Thanks man… now bite the person next to you, and we’ll cross our fingers and hope it’s infectious! 😀 (Shadow made me say that last part.)
So, take care..(vote)..and we hope you..(vote, vote)..enjoyed the strip! (are you brainwashed yet?)
Go VOTE!
Sincerely,
BACH-MANN & Shhadow
Nice seeing the dialog out side the panels your earlier comic’s were covered up with too many speech bubbles.
Is thar the The MIB in panel 4?
I don’t know, but “cigarette smoking man” is making himself scarce . . . can agents Mulder and Sculley be far behind?
Well Smoking Guy did ‘hood’ a kid with prestigious parents. Perhaps something got reported to higher authorities.
Looks more to me like the Elite Beat Agents. -shrug- They start to blur together, after a while.
*that*
Go for the footlongs.
I’m glad to see BJ jollied Red out of hitting him, got her back into banter-mode. He’s not the total deeb he’s been sold as.
BJ is somewhat socially inept, as I imagine they all are to some degree. Part of that is their age and inexperience, and part is the nerd factor.
I’ve kinda gotten the feeling that BJ is the “on the bright side”, sort of character. When Red is first turned from Clarence, BJ’s response was, at least you’re hot. Regarding the fighting V 1st epic fail, his position is his strategy was a good one, instead of being consumed by defeat. His take on the dog to girl quick change, was, “it was great”. He definitely has an over inflated sense of himself and lacks tact, but….
It also dawned on me that BJ wants so much to be desirable, he doesn’t care the form.
I have an ominous feeling about that envelope.
that letter is probables Liam letter’s, he’s such selfish person and self absorb into himself.
Besides having Liam being a potential nemesis to Melvin. Have him also chasing Red too with the same zeal that he trying to win the contest.
It does sound like something Liam would say. I remember Liam, at some point, sitting at his computer, saying something about not all battles are won on the field. I’ve been waiting to see what he was up to.
I think it’s a Subway coupon! Bach-man is just building suspense!
I love Red’s facial expression in top of panel 2. It’s like, am I actually hearing what you’re saying come out of your mouth right now. It’s much like the face I imagine I’d make if someone had said that to me. Hahaha.
The amount of blood is rather disturbing, since it suggests someone lost quite a lot from hits with a blunt weapon. There aren’t many parts of the body that will bleed heavily when struck with blunt force trauma, so I’m guessing at least one person needs a hospital trip.
I think the trophy was “blunt” only insofar as it wasn’t an actual blade. It still had corners and edges.
Scalp wounds are notorious for bleeding more than you’d expect. And one of the nice things about blood, even a few drops looks like a lot.
Still, I admit I’ve been thinking the same thing. Unless the person who got clobbered stayed in the melee and smeared blood on his brothers in arms, how did it get on so many? See previous strip. There’s three guys with blood on them, but only with a hurt-star over the–unbandaged!–bump on his head.
So, yeah, I think there’s been some artistic license taken with the blood-spatter patterns.
I’m don’t think any of it is blood. Look closely, every panel the so-called blood appears there are other colors.
The Rookie officer, a few strips back also reports to the Sarge, “we’ve got paint damage, a bald spot, and a stolen shoelace”.
In the strip where Liam is being arrested, three kids are sitting in chairs against a wall. One- has a bald spot, one is missing a shoelace, and one is covered in something, holding something in his lap, totally bummed out.
The shoelace was swiped so stealthily by Smoking Guy and used to tie Liam up.
We saw, in shadow form, Liam have hold of some kids hair.
The aftermath reaction would be very different, in my opinion, if someones block was knocked.
The fear reaction before hand makes sense because Liam had already made physical contact and was swinging that mallet around threateningly, probably smashing up nerdy paint in the mix.
The more I look at them, the more I wonder about the two suits in frame 3. How the heck does this rise above the level of uniform street cop? Something’s afoot.
Those may not be cops, but people that work for Liam’s father working to keep the owner from pressing charges. Which will still leave a room full of others that they will need to appease/pressure into also not pressing charges.
Possible, of course–but since one of them is flipping out a badge, I’m betting not. Actually, I’m wondering if Red might be the one attracting attention, due to her sex change. Jeanie’s been attracting some attention on account of her magic, and perhaps that’s contagious.
Well, all this action has at least worked out in Melvin’s favor in that he has not missed his chance at the Hammer, the matches have only been delayed for now.
Liam probably had some special backup cards in there in case he needed a Ace in the hole.
Hate to break it to you TJ, but a “lady dog” is a bitch
