Hmm…honestly, I still don’t think it’s a good idea. Red’s not yet comfortable enough in her own skin to even think of a relationship.

I don’t know, I think it could go either way. On the one hand, Red could feel more like her old self by getting a girlfriend, but on the other hand it could be a Misfile situation in which Saachi’s the man of the relationship.
In any case, Red would probably appreciate the effort anyways and Melvin should totally do it.
Nice took along time but it all starting to make sense. Well I dont get why she asked him to the dance if she wanted red. But red and saachi will be a very cute pair to see together.

Red is going to be torn between finding it awesome hot that Saachi wants her, and finding it freaky that Saachi wants “HER” (i.e. Tiffany as opposed to Clarence).
So now we know that Saachi a lesbian. We don’t currently know what Red is yet and Red doesn’t know what Red is either. So this should be interesting.
Saachi will obviously not have much problem running interference for Melvin when it comes to Holly. But, Melvin running interference for Saachi with Red, well that going to be another matter.
It seems natural, in a way, for Red to be attracted to Saatchi. And I think it’s a realy good thing for her to have a fairly intimate relationship with a girl who can teach her day-to-day girl stuff, not just modeling girl stuff.
But I’d also like to see a newly made girl eventually find she’s attracted to a boy.
Well, I mean, I don’t think Saachi has even been on the same strip as Red for ages, and even then they weren’t in the same panel. Who knows what their chemistry would be? Also, I think Red would be straight, mainly because Jeannie made her as a test dummy for Melvin to pick up girls. It follows the rules, Jeannie’s not giving Red a set path, just changing her orientation.

I want Red to have a fling with Saachi–and then find herself falling for Mr. Magic as the girlitude really takes hold.
She fights it, she really does. But no use: to her, Melvin is just the very coolest guy in the entire world, and she simply can’t help but to vamp him.
Oh the verbal triangle of Holly and Red interested in Melvin with on occasional BJ sticking his nose in it too. Oh let make it a five some, with Saatchi also sticking her nose in it for Red too.
Red is a woman that used to be a dude, no way is Red “straight “.

No, magical boy, she’s a girl who pays attention to the relevant social signals. You are a nerd, who has no idea such signals exist.
Well, yes, *we* know that, but Melvin clearly doesn’t. Of course, if you don’t know how it works it’s indistinguishable from magic (with apologies to Arthur C. Clark).
Of course he doesn’t know, he’s a nerd, like I said.
Actually at this point, there no indication that Saachi has any magical abilities or that she knows anything about Melvin magic either. But, she is very aware of her surrounding and people around her and what there doing. When you have someone that stay alert and waiting most of the time or what going on around them, they see thing and know things that most of the rest of the other people don’t see.
I can kind of relate to Saachi there, because I am kind of that of person too. You see thing several week or month before other see thing and assuming that they ever see them at all and some people don’t see or know what happen even after they have see happened even.
Because, she is this way, she going to be causing Melvin some real grief in the future too.
So what happened to the pointy-hatted shadow from the last comic?

The last panel gave me a laugh when even the humanoid pustule Liam could figure out that Melvin likes Holly and had attempted to come between them as part of his “master plan” to win the War Mallet tournament.
