Tiffany "Red" ThorntonRed was a boy until a new genie tried to get Melvin a girlfriend. That's when the genie turned Red into a girl so Melvin could practice talking to girls, and forgot to turn her back before disappearing. Red is hopeful that her situation is only temporary. Comics: 227 |
if only Red’s dunderheaded mama, would know the REAL truth about that quacked up place.. maybe then she and her stupid husband would wisen up.
A “second chance” implies that there was a first. Since Clarence/Tiffany has no older siblings or half-siblings, then it was probably Mary herself who was rejected (or expelled) from Southeil. And I think that she knows quite well what goes on there, and wants to make alliances with the various Witches. The fact that we have seen that the covens are “recruiting” implies that either Witchcraft can be granted or taught to those born without it, or else that they take on “mortal” humans as elite servants/cohorts of some sort (probably as a way of gaining access to mundane wealth and politics).
Several point that I would like to add here:
1. Even though this is an all Girl School and Clarence way a guy, it also a Prestigious for the rich people and one of the places that they keep there daughter away from the underclass people or middle class or poor people. Even though Clarence is a guy, there was an indication that they still tried to send him there.
2. Then there the prospect that you mention of Mary not being able to get there.
3. Mary trying to use Tiffany to meet these other rich people and send her on her way with some rich for her to marry.
4. Generally Mary want to use Tiffany for her own selfish motive and desires and she only have limited interest in as far as being her Mother goes.
Poor Red.
I wonder what other dreams she will try to live through her child, aside from modeling of course.
Oh, there are plenty more dreams that Mary want to live through Tiffany beside modeling. This was just the opening volley and there is plenty more to come from where that came from too.
On this edition and the last edition of Melvin Chronicle, Carlo you made Red look like a girl, which is fine, but, you also did a good job of giving Red a guys response to the situation. To make Red look like Tiffany with the repose of Clarence in a girls body. Now that hard to do and you did a very good job in displaying that in each of the frams we see her in.
It would serve Mother Mary right if near the end of this story, she somehow gets ahold of and opens an empty genie bottle and becomes a genie herself. And Clarence becomes her master.
Phenomenal cosmic power, itty bitty living space.
Interesting idea, but Mary knows better than touching mysterious objects first hand, she have Helga and others to do so for her first.
Also, no matter the master she could get, Mary with genie powers could end being even more problematic than Jeanie herself… like, you would rather to look for a Monkey’s Pawn instead.

I agree with you that Mary a real bitch. The physical transformation for Clarence into girl body, was Jeanie doing. Which was the starting point for, The Melvin Chronicle. It a story about Melvin and his three friends BJ and Clarence who was just turned into a girl physically. Mary being the bitch she is, is playing part of breaking down Clarence internally and recreating him into a girl named Tiffany internally. So it Mary that forcing Clarence to become Tiffany and diving major part of this story that being told. I personally would like to see Mary get what coming to her eventually. But, I know it not going to happen very soon, because she would not be able to drive the story that are getting right now.
In addition to see a back story Tiffany and there still a whole lot more to tell and Carlo should take his time telling it, like Tiffany time in the new school, modeling, the hero in the series she stars in and few other things too. Which is going to take awhile and maybe even have either Melvin and/or BJ play escort to her modeling sometime, female model are suppose to escorted by a guy and needed someone and ask one or two of those guys to do the escorting.
Carlos should only do this after most of the other story loss ends have been pretty much pulled in and caught up. Then give us a back story on BJ and Clamor, with our hero coming to save Clamor from the Men&Women in Black. With BJ pleading to be the hero that out front that rescues the fair maiden. Ida finally give up and hands BJ fifty dollar or maybe a hundred dollars and say, when we get Clamor back, I want you to hid her some place and we will come back and get you later. BJ all happy and everything that he get to play out one of his dreams of being a hero with the beautiful girl Clamor. I am sorry, but, this BJ dream, like cut him some slack here. BJ got this great idea of taking Clamor to a hotel room to hid her and keep her out of sight until he can contact the other. For some reason Clamor is even more friendly BJ than she usually is and even playful with him and begs him to stay with her for a little while, which turned out to be over night in the same bed. Nothing seem to have happened that we know of and BJ finally make contact with the other member of the group and Clamor is safe and sound so everybody believes at the time including BJ. But, that was last year or about the same time that this event is suppose to be happening. But, next year after a long time absence, Clamor finally show up again with a Female Cat Girl in tow, that looks suspiciously and almost a carbon copy of BJ with long black hair with double D boobs, Cat Ears, Cat Tail and maybe in Cat whisker on her that goes by the name Kitty. Clamor and Kitty run into Tiffany and Ida first and of course there looking for another model too and they enlist Kitty into this modelling career. Here where we get the back story of what happened after that night in the Hotel room with BJ, like we can’t already figure it out on our own. That where Clamor tell us that Kitty is BJ daughter and that after that day, that Clamor got caught is time warp that threw her back in time about 15 or 16 year in the past. That she wasn’t allowed to make contact with any one until now, because, she had to wait for time lines to re sink so that she would not mess up the time and now she back with Kitty her daughter too. Of course, at this point in time, only Tiffany and Ida know what happened and both BJ and Melvin in the dark as to what going on here. We never see the deed that created Kitty. We only have Clamor telling us what happened and we see Kitty and we know she not lying.

Five, four, three, two…it loses something in the translation.
I doubt that Red told Mary exactly what happened to make her a girl or that Mary believes that this will ever be reversed. In that case she is trying to get her to accept being a girl, and if that happens to make her dreams come true too that is all the better.
Except she dies care about Red’s feelings.
Have seen ‘Ballet Moms’ in action. Like ‘Pageant Moms’, they may have a scary, almost evangelical disconnect from reality. Neighbour’s kid did NOT want to do ballet/dance or stage stuff. She craved Tumbling and Tae Kwon Do, like her cousins. Upside, when the studio finally, finally convinced Mom that ‘Darling Princess’ really did not belong, their balance exercises and barre stuff stuck, made Miss a *very* nimble ‘ninja’…
