Silly Melvin, teleport first, then make her go to sleep!
This kid is way to powerful. Like a ring of infinite wishes in D&D.
He should of just teleported her and forget the sleep command. Don’t you just love new Wizard that don’t know what there doing. He has more power than he know what to do with.
She thinks it’s just a vivid dream. Bad news for Melvin.
Just because she still believes it’s a dream doesn’t mean she’ll forget it. Melvin planted a couple of good seeds in his favor. He will definitely be on her mind for one reason or another.
One can only hope she’s the kind of person who remembers her dreams.
Melvin! Think about her being safe at her own home and it *will* happen. Jeeze this boy is slow . . .
Melvin has not yet figured out he’s using wish magic, but I don’t see him as being “slow” for that. There is a bombardement of new things going on. He’s had some unsuccessful attempts at consciously yeilding magic. Now he’s expected to “perform”, under pressure, in front of the object of his affection.
Also, he’s had some awkward moments since Holly has appeared, but it was quick thinking, on his part, which prompted him to keep up the ruse.
Just point behind her and yell, “LOOK, AN EVIL OGRE!”, then hit her in the head when her back is to you. Then you and your friends and sneak her in her back to her home.
What about her parents? Wouldn’t they be suspicious?
What’s a little concussion between friends?
In my day, concussions were considered character building. All the movie and TV heros got concussed at least once per episode, and twice on the holiday specials, and still caught the bad guys, so we knew a little brain damage never hurt anyone.
(Sigh) Ah, I miss those days. 😀
