I’m going to have to go back through the archives and see if there was a clear date when she got her figure back after her ‘reduction’, to see whether this is an ‘out of the blue’ thing, and if she even noticed the reversion.
If you do find something that refer to Red breast returning to normal size. It will most likely have happened during that Party that Malvin trying to forget and hoping that everybody else will forget that Party and what happened there. That where Melvin magic when haywire on him and caused all kinds of problem and it probably undid the magic that Melvin use on Red early. But, this is just a guess on my part, I don’t know for sure.

The bust boost originally happened during the timeskip between when Bach-Mann’s run of the comic ended, and Carlos’s began. CD Rudd went back and drew his interpretation of how Red got even bustier than ever, in Carlos’s art style, some time after Carlos took over the comic. And yes, Carlos did always intend for this particular mishap to have occurred during the timeskip.

VerĂ³nica got lucky this time. She wasn’t aware of Red’s and Debbie’s recruitment. The one known as Helen (Griffin) though… who knows.

Love that Red looks visibly bustier than other girls now.
I’m really happy too to see that the author made (remade) Red visibly really more bustier than all the other girls. Not just a small more, but a LOT more so that the difference is quite noticiable.
That Red doesn’t just look like a normal girl with a really big chest, like the other girls around her here.
But instead has really really huge voluptuous, perky and bouncy breast quite a few level above everyone else.
That was a result of Melvin completely screwing up his attempt to re-establish Red’s original bust size, after her breasts got reduced to pancakes near the end of the previous artist’s run of the comic. He went much too far while resizing them. đŸ™‚

Oh really ? I though he only made them back to their original size. So not only did she got them back to their original size, but she also got a lot more extras ?

@Checkit1414 It was a canon filler page made by CDRudd. It’s 100% canon, even if I may expand on those event later. Also, I am not the best at character consistency, so even though Red IS the most developed girl of her age in this comic, the way I portray her can vary.
Oh. I see. It was depicted in the form of that filler. That’s great! (Although, in that filler, it just look like Melvin is returning Red’s chest to her normal size. She doesn’t look like she is gaining really more bust size than normal after that. That’s a bummer there wasn’t more panel showing after that her gaining even more bust size and what is their reaction to that.)
And we can also see that’s the reason why she got her hair so long now ! I didn’t know it was because of that! That’s fantastic.
It would be really great and interesting though Carlos if you could make a small flash back of all that scene depicted in a few strip pages. Because i feel it is something missing in the flow of the story between before and now.
How Melvin has come to this scene to try to change Red back and failed. What was Red’s reaction to this idea in the first place. What were the reaction of both of the characters at the result of this change. What happened when Melvin realised Red’s chest just went instead a tons bigger than her original size. And what was Red’s reaction to it too when she realised she was now rocking a much much bigger chest than ever before. (And not just only that, but that all her female curve and hair lenght got also a boost.)
What pushed Red to finaly keep her look ? Is it because she was afraid it could get worse ? Or maybe that she filanly though she was liking having the look of a sexy godess ? It would tie i think how we are seeing Red now trying to live her new life in the body of a ultra sexy vixen and the pros and cons of it in her everyday life situation.
So much question and character developpment that could be answered.
Also Carlos, i’m sure you are doing your best at trying to draw character in a consistent shape and size. I know it’s not easy. But has long has you know it yourselft and realize that when you are drawing Red’s silhouette, you have to exagerate quite a bit more than normal her curve, than i’m sure it’ll show when comparing her to other character. And that her chest size for example is a LOT more bigger in size than everyone else.
