For the second comic of the January Hiatus, CD Rudd has graced us with the story of how flat-chested Tiffany became the Red we now know and love (to stare at). And yes, this comic is canon, though Carlos is reserving the right to expand upon the details surrounding this scene at a later date.

Hey, Robert – how did CD get this to you? Did he find a better Internet connection somewhere? Or was this a stray comic that was left behind when he departed?
I think Red might be better off avoiding Melvin “Hog us Poke us number that he like to do with his magic”. He only make things worse as far as Red is concerned. Or she could give up the idea and become the hottest girl in town, which won’t happen, because that one of the story lines for Melvin Chronicle along with Melvin and BJ as the main character with everyone else thrown in as support characters.
He uploaded it to me in the usual manner, on our Slack server.
He’s not unable to make and upload comics. He just can’t do so with anywhere near the same level of convenience and speed as he could when he was at home. Nor does he have access to his usual art tools. I had to do a LOT of art fixing on this page to bring it up to our usual standards, because he’s working with lesser tools.
Red’s gonna clobber Melvin in about 10 seconds.
On the other hand, this spell could make Melvin RICH, if he can just figure out how to do it by himself.
No kidding. I’d pay, just to get hair that long & thick.

Even Jeannie doesn’t learn from her mistakes, you can hardly expect Melvin to be much better.
Melvin tends to regret his screw-ups, though. Jeanie, on the other hand . . .

To be fair, Jeannie is more forgetful than anything else. Most of her “mistakes” were because she took off before undoing them; she’s the poof-and-run type. Melvin doesn’t have that option, so he has to live with the results of his errors.
@Kattgirl – yes, she is forgetful. And it’s pretty hard to regret what you forget.

Side question – How heavy is Red’s hair that she can feel the extra weight?
It might not be noticeable if it grew at a natural rate., but it seems likely that having your hair suddenly double in length would be noticeable.
Maybe it gets all the extra weight that is removed from Jeannie’s boobs so that they stay up without support.
And I’d say her hair about tripled in volume between panels 2 & 4. Why can’t my stylist make mistakes like that?

It’s as if the magic is fighting back. This happened with Tiphan-nee in the Exiern web comic. The more she tried to fight the magic that made her female, the more it fought back (and would occasionally turn other males female).
The problem is, is that Melvin trying countermand Genie Magic with witch magic, which causes problems. It like plugging into a direct current from Alternating Current. It going to cause problem and possibly blow something up. Even another Genie doesn’t like to countermand another Genie Magic, because, it might cause problem or cause them to over use there Magic powers and such.
She lucky that she only got bigger boobs and longer hair to deal with only.

You mean these guys? http://archive.exiern.com/ and Yes, there still up and running. They up date about once a week too. During the Christmas and New Year, it got a little weak, but there back strong now.

Step 3: Run!
OK, I just noticed the title of this page. So apparently the word “groove” is a synonym for “boobs”. Who knew?!
So glad someone finally noticed my oh so clever title. But do you know what specific pop culture media it’s referencing?
Well… there was a movie, maybe 1995 or so, called How Stella Got Her Groove Back.
There was also a Disney animated film called The Emperor’s New Groove. Those are the only references that I can think of, newer than the 1960s.

I was originally going to title the page “How Tiffany Got Her Boobs Back”, but Carlos rightly pointed out that such a title obscured the reference far too much. And also that “groove” as a euphemism for “boobs” is much funnier, anyway. 🙂
I agree with your decision. You two make a good team.
I think she is still missing one, maybe two cup more base on what we see here from what we saw in the comic earlier.
Maybe this is why Melvin is saying ” I can fix this! ”
This is take one, and on the second attemps to fix it….again, her chest will grow again a little bit more, her boobs becoming really big and buxom like in the comic previously and that’s when everything will go ape shit. Melvin will start panicking and just think ” This is not working at ALL. I better stop now before i make things really out of hand. ”
And that’s when Red will finaly realize how busty she become by removing the blindfold, wondering what is happening and just react to it.
P.S: Isn’t she also supposed to be a little bit more taller than this comparing to Melvin ? Usualy, Melvin’s eye are around her mouth/nose level.
