Hey gang, HOLY ‘ISH! I’m back online! Keep your fingers crossed for me. The internet around here is not the best, but it’s part of the housing package so, I make the best of it. Thank you for your kind words and support. I appreciate it so much. Nothing is more frustrating than having strips finished and piling up, and not be able to post them. All of you creators out there know what I mean. I would also like to take this moment to thank CD Rudd for his continued help, as well as just being a great guy. he’s the best, and without his efforts and support you would not be enjoying the Melvin Chronicles. Soooo, here we go where we left off…

Anyone else think Kazom and Clamour should hook up?
They are BOTH cats after all.
Would Kazom even think of himself as a cat?
Also, would a former Genie Lord ever get over the social indignity of dating a servant of a Witch?
If I were Kazom, I’d drag BJ into a cold shower. But cats don’t like to get wet.
Would he actually need to drag him into a shower, instead of just causing a bucket of cold water to empty over him?
Expecting a wish to go off any moment now as Melvin is getting himself worked up.
If Kazom hasn’t granted wishes to Melvin yet… I bet he’s figure out ways to get around granting wishes. Remember, Kazom is 3000+ years old.
No not from Kazom, I’m talking about Melvin and his problem of making them by accident by himself.
BJ does not know any cats.
I’ve lived with several cats, and an individual with mixed cat and hot girl psychology would be…nope nope nope nope nope. Fiercely independent yet constantly needy. With claws, sharp teeth, and magic.
BJ is entirely too gobsmacked to cope.
Face it – BJ has never been the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Being the overconfident loser that he is with girls, the only kind of girl he would ever attract is the needy type.
Yelp, just what I would expect from BJ. He see what he think he want to see and then goes running blindly into no mans land trying to get it. Kazom is right about one thing, one some one like BJ has lost it, there nothing that you can do about it, except let them hit the wall.
Then we have poor Melvin being ignored all the time. Get use to it Melvin, especially when your not the center of the conversation or the subject matter either.
Of course, when BJ says “she’s amazing” he really means “her boobs are amazing”.
And we don’t know (though Kazom might) how Clamour will react to that kind of attention.
BJ’s biggest problem will be keeping himself from drooling worship. He must, absolutely MUST keep the upper hand. Doesn’t mean he has to be a jerk, doesn’t mean he has to be her master–he simply cannot allow her to order him around and set the agenda.
She’s a servant by nature (which may conflict with her cat nature, not sure how that will work). She’ll want to serve. He must respect and cater to that, and he must reward her obedience with attention, affection, praise.
Otherwise, he will be her chase&chew toy.
Ding ding, Ding ding, Bach-mann arriving. Welcome back. With the strips piling up you now have a little wiggle room for posting on time. Great story so far man. I look forward to seeing how this plays out.

Poor Kazom – trying to ride herd on a immature wizard and his brainless twit of a friend. I feel for him.
Maybe Clamor could be BJ’s familiar…
No, that not possible isn’t witch and probably won’t become one either, but she might become his girlfriend cat. I see the possibility of Clamor bouncing around Bj like he her boyfriend and such. I see the possibility of this happening solely on the basses that BJ has a higher opinion of Clamor than everybody else does of her and even her own view of herself even.
Everybody is pigeonholing Clamor as being just a cat or as just a familiar, but, not as an individual like what BJ doing right now. Yes, BJ started off looking at her boobs and that is what turned him on to her originally, but, he is rapidly moving on to seeing her as an individual who has a net worth. It might be by way of a silly puppy love, but it moving in that direction right now. It been going in that direction over the last 10 Melvin Chronicle.
Everybody has pigeonholed BJ too to being self deluded into thinking of himself as God gift to womankind, which is true. But, BJ is still a free agent, which Clamor isn’t or won’t start out being a free agent without BJ help. I see BJ continuing doing and saying stupid thing, along with jumping to the wrong conclusion. We guys don’t start off loving girls, we have to learn how to do that. BJ is at the starting point of learning to love Clamor and Clamor is at the starting point of seeing herself as something more than just a cat or some familiar to some witch. Going to be seeing herself through BJ eyes and not anybody else eyes including all of us poster even who are seeing the comic and posting to it even.
If the Witches have to make concessions to Melvin and his adviser Kazom to have contact with Melvin, they could demand Clamor be sent as a condition, that is if BJ sticks him head into the deal. As to Clamor being a cat, that is too simplistic, to get her to be what the Witches needed they seem to have made her and the rest closer to human than cat.
Edit: …if BJ sticks his head into the deal.
The Witches might agree to it based on the idea of making Clamor be their “observer” for Melvin, believing that Melvin and Kazom will lower their guard around her more than they would with a Witch present.
Letting Clamor being BJ girlfriend will have that effect without calling attention to there back door approach to getting to Melvin or observing what going on with Melvin. After all, Melvin and BJ spend a lot of time together because there best friends and Clamor will be spending a lot of time with BJ too. Now that Kazom has given up on trying to convince BJ from chasing Clamor there an open file for the witch’s to watch and have some impute behind the scene on what going on with Melvin.
Although, the witches didn’t start off with this idea or would think this idea up, I think it will devolve into this plan vs stage an all out fight for Melvin or start another Genie/Witch War.
He should listen to the actual talking cat who tells him that he’s out of his mind.
