uhhhhhh…. two things, one: Lorion, could you BE any more tactless? two: you are *seriously* underestimating what a teenage male will be attracted to when he is hormonal and a nerd. (that last bit wasn’t meant as a diss, i was WAY worse when i was BJ’s age.)
Given Lorion’s Witch-centric prejudices, I think that also his opinion of BJ drops even lower at the thought that BJ would be attracted to Clamor–since she is not human, “obviously” the boy must have a Furry fetish or something.
I think that Lorien is badly underestimating both Clamor’s degree of loneliness and BJ’s hormone level.
Well that’s rude. Plus BJ clearly doesn’t mind.
I knew there was something familiar about her.
I think BJ will be trying to find a means to have a cat transformation so he can be closer to Clamor.
That won’t happen until BJ spend time with her and probably fall in love with her and want to make her his regular girlfriend and at this point his only girlfriend. But, that going to be some time in the future from this point.
I think SGT Lewis has the right idea, but what if BJ is capable of it already he just doesn’t realize it, like how Melvin was originally oblivious to his magical abilities
Lorion has the tact of a raging bull in a china shop when it comes to Clamor. Lorion has a very shallow and a just working relationship with Clamor. But, Lorion emotional attachment to Clamor is very limited when it come to his actually really caring for her as an individual and is primarily just her handler and nothing much more. Up to now that was sufficient, because Clamor didn’t know better and didn’t ask question either. But, that changes now.
Lorion second thing he said that was wrong from Clamor vantage point. He going to deal with her logically, when she getting emotional about her net worth. Bad idea when we guy do that to girls even a cat girl. He just step on her net worth while he was trying to reason with her even if his reasoning is sound and to the point. Not good!
BJ has a lot of problems and has vanity issue that doesn’t quit, which is why he can’t get a regular girl. He a nerds nerd and even a nerdy girl wouldn’t want him. But, given all BJ fault, which are many, he see Clamor as a valuable individual that he would like to get to know. Which Clamor will probably respond to, because, BJ touching a side of Clamor that nobody else has touch or even want to touch even. Bj, is touching a need that Clamor has that she didn’t know she had until BJ touched it. Now she going to be looking around and it will be at BJ that she looks at.
BJ is both seeing something about Clamor that nobody else is seeing and may even genuinely want to be her friend. Clamor is someone who he is just interested in and would genuinely want to spend time with her. At this point, it primarily just interest in her as a person and not something that romantic, which will probably change over time as he get to know her and get emotionally involved with her.

Lorion, I’m pretty sure BJ sees Clamor for her boobs, and maybe her bottom. Cattishness is just an extra. “Worth” has nothing to do with it, to either BJ or Clamor.
I think Clamor likes being looked at as a sex object. That’s closer to her own “worth” than whatever it is Lorion sees–which is probably how useful she is.
Narrow though BJ’s view is, he’s at least dealing directly with her. I’ll bet anything nobody asked her if she wanted to be augmented.
Lorion needs a case of his own treatment of Clamor, maybe a rouge wish will help with than and unite BJ and Clamor.
Just to be devils advocate, Lorrion is not without some validity. Nobody really knows what such a relationship could entail. Given the nature of magic does clamor exist? Or is she just a manifestation of someone’s spell.. a dream… a familiar.
That being said.. I still say go BJ 🙂
Sorry to be “that guy,” but it’s ‘instead’ not ‘insted.’ Like I said earlier, Clamor is a cat. She won’t have regrets or second thoughts. She will have people she likes and that’s about it.

That being said it is realy harsh to pull someone down like that. a familar should be like a partner and friend not just some person you can order around. I hope Melvin stays away from the witches iof they are all like that.
Lorion would learn a thing or two by using the internet himself sometime. All he would need to do is go to deviantart or furaffinity to learn that he is unfortunately incorrect here. That said, I still don’t buy the premise that this guy is suddenly kitten smitten when he has shown not the least bit of interest in Clarence, who has actual interests in common with him.
