135: You Can’t Take Your Eyes Off These Kids!
Probably not one of Ida’s proudest moments. But our party of heroes has finally embarked upon their new adventure, which is all that matters! Still, I feel bad for leaving JJ and Ida out of the journey. So lets give some trivia about the characters left behind to make up for that:
– JJ used to have a crush on Melvin when she was twelve.
– Ida is a single mother. She actually has two kids, one of them around Melvin’s age.
– Yog-Sothoth is the Door, and knows and sees all of space-time, all at once. It knows your secrets.
Well, stay tuned in next episode to fine out what happened.
If I understand correctly, only Melvin could have used the book to open the gate (or to ask YS for permision) to the Azoth. As the very source of all magic which was once taken from Genies by Solomon.
I cannot imagine how both geniekind and witches are gonna react to these events. Specially considering Blue’s minions are literally shadowing the group.
What if the Lodges decide Melvin needs a better guardian and mentor than Kazom? Is not like they wouldn’t have a point; Kazom’s idea of helping Mel overcoming his obsession of helping Tiffany was to send him a bunch of succubus to keep him distracted. Not to mention the whole Red gender switch was the result of his previous missmanagement of Jeanie’s tutelage.
If JJ used to have a crush on Melvin, then it makes a lot of sense that she made him the main protagonist of her anime tropes.
I think that it is JJ that is the one chronicling what Melvin doing as in the Melvin Chronicles. She the one that keeping the record of what going on here. Neither Melvin, BJ or Tiffany are keeping any records of what happening.
Hey, that’s a clever idea!
The gate closing sound effect should have been “Omnomnom!”
That would have sounded very omnominous.
Frankly, Ida, you don’t exactly have qualification to understand what’s going on, much less actually help.
Also, you really shouldn’t look at those eyes.
