So he has envisioned this, just not as a cat putting out a spot of fire with oven mitts on.
Seems an awful lot of trouble to go to just to cop a feel…
Don’t mention storm troopers, Star wars would have been so much better if I had directed it.
1) Storm troopers would have been a lot better at their job.
2) The rebels would have been called terrorist by the empire and freedom fighters by themselves.
3) The rebels would have been a lot more ruthless, and Lea would have been an action chick and an actual leader of the resistance instead of a mare damsel on distress
4) The empire would have had redeeming qualities and attitude towards it would have been mixed, with some liking it and others hating it.
5) The emperor should have a religious emperor cult around him, with a lot of people actually believing him to be a god, just like real world dictators.
And that is just to mention a few, don’t get me started at Luke, short answer I would make him the comedic sidekick.
Different era, different attitudes. Also bear in mind the movies and lots of the novels only show things from the rebels viewpoint there were actually a lot of humans who liked the empire hence the imperial remnant who didn’t want to become part of the federation even after the empire died and why even with their rather poor attitude towards alien’s and women two of their most dangerous military commanders were an alien and a woman respectively.
You have to remember that the original Star Wars movie was very much an homage to the old space opera movie serials of the 1930s to 1950s. In those the bad guys were always pure evil, the women were always damsels in distress and the heroes were always fresh faced “boyscouts.” Nobody expected it to become the juggernaut that it has, and everything has just been following the established pattern of the first movie.
I think you missed the boat on Leia sure she was the damsel in Dis-dress lol. But she also was as deep into the rebel alliance as anyone else. She fought but mostly she worked as a leader not as a shock trooper.
As for Imperial’s not everyone hated them only the ones that were oppressed. Like in real life most people would not care who is in charge as long as it didn’t negatively effect them.

The towel follows the rules of women’s armor: The sexier it is, the higher the armor rating.
…Kinda want to see a detailed full body view of Susan only wearing the towel. Am I the only one?
I wonder if the tube towel is a thing? Because that is one form fitting towel. A very nice form as well.
I wonder if BJ can behave around Susan or if he is to intimidated to be act that way.
