Anyway, it hasn’t happened in this comic yet.
Well, if Bach-Mann want to, he could have Red poofing too or other character here. Cause, Jeanie is sneazing and poofing all over the place and creating a terrible mess over in Jeanie Bottle land. But, only if he want to.
We have seen it a couple times in Sailorsun, and more than a couple times in jeaniebottle, and it would be fun with something new and unexpected. I’m sure Bach-Mann can come up with something.
Did I see two poof’s in the last frame? If I did, it would be funny if both BJ and Red come out as the oppose sex than what they walk in as. Another casualty of Jeanie poof.

From what I’ve seen at Jeanie bottle, it’s only people which Jeanie has actually magicked that are getting poofed. I don’t recall Jeanie ever zapping BJ.
however, whatever they come out as will be amusing on some level.
When BJ says “Nooot smooth,” is he talking about Red’s legs?
It looks to me like BJ is thinking that ’cause there is a thought bubble. I think he’s saying that to himself because he got caught staring at Red’s crotch. He kinda stammers with his “uh, uh”, after she calls him on it. He is likely investigating the region after Red announces Ida gave her a hard on.
BJ is trying to figure out that ” hardon” remark from a few days ago.
Those ‘poof’s are teleportals. They’ve gone to wherever Melvin is.
(Hopefully clothed… But no telling what kind of clothes.)
The poofs are jeanie moonshine allergy sneezes,now Red has two heads and BJ turned into a goat.

I find it interesting he remembers them from before as a trio, and knows what Red’s been up to lately, but doesn’t mention the elephant in the room. Has he seen them in the interim?
I know they’ve hung at ‘The House of The Rising Fun’ since the flash back, but the Van Man didn’t make an appearance in that strip.
He does refer to Red as ‘The Scarlet Avenger’ and NOT the ‘Ranger’, which it seamed, was Clarence’s character.
Red IS the face of the new Scarlet Avenger Character and is wearing the t-shirt. It does sound like even though Van Man doesn’t know their names, he does recognize them. I assumed that is one of their regular hang outs. My guess is they made something up.

It took a while to figure out due to the font, the bathrooms are labeled Thrones.
Pretty sure that BJ was zapped during the school dance by the fake genie in her body. They were teleported at least once.
