Kazom is a 3,000 year old genie. In order to conserve power and thereby extend his life, Kazom does as little magic as possible. He is bound in the form of the Clark family's cat and mostly just lays around Melvin's Room.
Is that smoking guy in the background of the last panel?!
By the cast pictures on the side, I assume the fancy car belongs to Liam’s family. Looks like they’re well off, probably means he spends a lot to acquire the best cards.
Kazom! Quit looking at Melvin’s Mom’s butt! BAD KITTY! (LOL)
So to beat the pimple lich you have to throw him off his game. You have to do something he wouldn’t plan for. Like Data playing to tie instead of winning on TNG. That screwed up the other player forcing him to take a tie. That ruined his record of no lossses. A tie is not a loss but it’s not a win. Liam wouldn’t stand for that.
Liam is one of those spoiled brat’s that think that they can do anything that they want to do and go out and does it. Liam can control this game and derives his felling of net worth by winning this game all the time and he uses his financial resources to win all the time and make’s the out come virtually assured to be a victory for himself. For all intents and purposes, it isn’t a fair came. So our hero’s have there work cut out for themselves to beat him.
Well, I was just going to ignore it, but “dalling” should be “dallying.” I was going to pass it off as Liam’s penchant for using the wrong word that sounds similar, but “dalling” isn’t a real word.
No. Kaiba had to work to get where he is, which is why he despises people who rely on luck (like Joey) and cheaters. He was also, for the most part, classier than Fatty – I mean, Liam.
Counterspells and interdiction stuff (blue and white in MTG). Also having every card doesnt mean he can use all of them. You have to base your deck on something so your choices are limited if you have some sort of strategy. This means now that Liam strategy can be foreseen and thus countered with the right kind of cards and Figure configuration.
Usually the game developers try to balance the game, so there might be medium level card that has an ability to one shot powerful cards in specific cases (holy vs. undead). Or maybe board clearing spells, doesn’t matter if he has strong cards if he never gets the opportunity to use them.
Or you can trust in the heart of the cards! – Yugi Muto
SHUT UP YUGI! That doesn’t make any sense! – heavy
In BJ’s case, not build your entire strategy around something so easy to disrupt. If there are a few shaman figures in this game, using one could possibly help deal with enemy spells.
She may very well be…was looking pretty drained. Though, it appears, she’s getting the water started.
Might be for the best if she is though…probably covered in ER patient dander.
Also, I think Kazom has been eatin’ a bit o’ magical fruit. Perhaps he’s attempting to build into his reserve. When she smelled it, I wonder if she thought it was her own.
In the one where Kazom gives him strategic advice, Melvin said something about wishing his dad were there. I got the impression he doesn’t get to see him often, if at all. In response, Kazom said something like he would be if he could, which begs the question, why would Kazom know anything about Melvin’s dad’s intentions.

I see you changed your name. Are you no longer bad?
I am working on my timing its not so bad any more lol.
Liam needs to learn some manners. That is no way to talk to your own mother…

I’m pretty sure Liam had ralf-mouth with that “urp”….wonder if he swallowed.
A Jaguar–figures. Flashy, expensive–and leaks oil. Perfect ride for a spoiled brat with no taste.
And he does look quite a lot like a dumpling. Wonder about his mom.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-_30ZRZAI0 – It’s just because he’s the villain. 😉
If Liam is a super rich kid maybe he really does have spies everywhere, he can afford to hire them.
Liam must be chewing on a Wizard Log.
Wizard Logs! Perfect for stuffing pie-holes!
That right there, golden ad material. *nod*
I hate to be that guy, but loosin’ should be losin’.
Indeed it should. Thank you for the spot.

Anyone else getting a Seto Kaiba feel from Liam?
No. Kaiba had to work to get where he is, which is why he despises people who rely on luck (like Joey) and cheaters. He was also, for the most part, classier than Fatty – I mean, Liam.
OK, gamers, question:
What is a good strategy against someone with an abnormally large card set–and the ability to remember what he has and how to use it?

Is susan showering in her scrubs? Getting a kitty to use the toilet like this is hard, i mean lids are something they just cant handle.

Have we seen if Melvin lives with both parents?
if not…
Crazy idea: Over time Kazom falls in love with Melvin’s mom.
Think of the drama!
…or am I just weird (he wouldn’t be a cat, of course.)

Yeah the way Kazom says it makes it sound like Melvin’s father has a job that keeps him away (e.g. military service).
Or being a kitty genie.. dun dun dunnnn… LOL
We’ve been attacked by spam bots!
They’ve breached the walls! Fall back to the keep!
I have installed divine protection. Hail Salpa! 🙂
HAIL SALPA! >:O
Yes, the military can lead to smoking. Only smokers get breaks.
