Happy Holidays
Hey gang, we’re taking a few days off for the holidays. Maggie and I wish all of you a very happy holiday season! I hope you enjoy this little item I call Boo Boo. See you in a few with more exciting tales from The Melvin Chronicles!
Take care MELVINAUTS!
BACH-MANN
Wait a minute – Kazom likes her because she took a thorn out of his paw? Haven’t we heard this one somewhere before?
(One would think a genie lord would be more than capable of handling his own first aid, but… )
And not long ago Kazom was carrying on about BJ and Clamor…
Yes, but that was, ahem BJ lusting after a shapechanger of powers beyond his ken.
This is a six thousand year old genie lusting after his partner’s wife. Totally different.
Well, Kazom is just admiring and maybe fantasizing, but not really doing anything about it. BJ crossed the line and actually made some advances.
And Susan’s not an enchanted animal; and neither is Kazom, despite his appearance. So I’m sure he sees it as a different set of circumstances. As far as he’s concerned, a genie being attracted to a human is a completely natural thing, no matter what form the genie has at the moment.
I feel for him a bit; he’s gotta be lonely. BJ has plenty of other options.
We’ve seen Kazom interested and excited to see Susan before.
Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays all.
Don’t forget, I Dream of a Jeanie Bottle is doing a week of updates starting on Xmas Day.
I wonder if he snuggles into her lap as she watches TV? Apparently there are some advantages to looking like a cat.
I wonder how many times Kazom has gotten hurt before just to get some personal attention from Susan?
LOL! She probably thinks he’s the most clumsy cat she’s ever seen!
But, she doesn’t know what we know. Oh, Well!
Merry Christmas, all.
Merry Christmas, indeed!

Trying to figure out why Susan is examining that bandaid so closely. Most nurses I’ve watched are so familiar with them they barely see them.
Also I love the way Kazom is actually holding his paw out to her. Go ahead, try to put a bandage on the paw of a real cat. You will need the rest of the bandages in the can for yourself. Kazom looks totally like a five year old infatuated with his best friend’s Mom.
She may be debating on putting a band-aid on Kazom’s fur covered paw, as it may not stick and would pull hair when removed.
I wonder how often she finds Kazom snuggled up to her in bed.
“Why is this a BLACK nurses uniform?”
“So the blood splatters don’t show!”
“…I think that’s exactly WHY real nurse uniforms are always light-coloured. That way they get cleaned when they’re contaminated.”
“Well… if you’re going to insist on realism… then it’s at least as often not blood, but other bodily discharges.”
“Gross.”
