Well, it is a lot easier to find a toilet bowl than a cauldron.
Actually I think there trying to use it like a crystal ball or something like that so they can see Holly bedroom so that they will know where to put her instead of putting randomly somewhere in her home. It would be terrible zap her somewhere they should not zap her, but, that could still happen. After all Melvin still new at being the blue wizard and casting spells.
Yes I know – water scrying. That’s what I was getting at. It’s an old magic called Hydromancy. Nostradamus, for example, used a brass bowl.
Maybe irrelevant, but in Aa! Megami-sama (Or Oh My Goddess), Skulk could only teleport through her element–water…
