this is just off the top of my head but, has Kazom ever filed out a restraining order on Nellah?
I don’t think the laws of human governments really hold much sway over genies, witches, and their familiars.

When Kazom first meet Melvin, Nellah is already there and Kazom has already had a long standing relationship with him too. We also know that Thomas Clark has had a long time relationship with Nellah, because that his familiar and probably has been his familiar for some time now, like t0 or 15 or even 20 years or so. We still don’t know how long that Kazom has known Thomas Clark, but, it probably been awhile, because he would have to have had some time with Nellah for to be so revved up about Kazom all the time.
I can understand how Kazom feel about Nellah alwasy chasing him. I once had a girl chasing me like that and it wasn’t very nice either. Like. Hey Lady! Go away!
