Red was a boy until a new genie tried to get Melvin a girlfriend. That's when the genie turned Red into a girl so Melvin could practice talking to girls, and forgot to turn her back before disappearing. Red is hopeful that her situation is only temporary.
Maybe not every seer has this problem, like Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire for example. Seem more intuitive for Kahin rather than him actively triggering his foresight; auto-seeing/hearing all these things ahead without trying.
There obviously are limits to his foresight; otherwise he would never make any mistakes, and would have not given himself away through [fairly obvious] verbal blunders.
One would think that he would also be able to foresee the reactions to his behavior, and be able to know how to avoid antagonizing people. Clearly he’s not nearly as powerful as he might be.
He is, though, extremely creepy. Yuk.
Red really should twist that top around the other way; that narrow litttle band across her boobs has got to hurt.
@Kattgirl I imagine he is so tired of repeating the same questions over and over again that he goes on Autopilot. It makes him relatable if you ask me.
Also, I wonder if knowing how everything will turn out takes all the fun out of life? He can’t even watch ‘Jeopardy’ without knowing all the answers in advance, and who’s going to win…
That had to be Red in panel 4.
Red: AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH… *POW!* SHADDAP!!!!!!!!

That narrow little band isn’t for Red’s benefit.

OK, that’s a good point.

That could explain his facial expression(s).
I have social anxiety. I can relate to the whole “anticipating conversations” thing a bit.
The really annoying part of being a precognitive person.
Like Mrs. Cake in Ankh Morpork.
I KNOW – you know – I get it – I got the concept…
