155: It is rather cool, tho.
Surprisingly enough, ever since magic became a constant in their lives, Melvin hasn’t managed to impress Clarence all that much.

Now, I know Red is getting it, do you realize that this is the ultimate closet and there would never be any need to search for the right outfit.
If he has complete and total control over the halls, then how in gods name did Kazom make it inside to even find them?
I think were missing something here….
Kazom *is* a genie. Maybe he knows a secret way to overcome that?
Not only a genie, but a Genie Lord, and a very old one at that. He doubtless knows tricks that nobody else would knoe.
My guess is that Kazom has some kind of Tracking/Tether spell on Melvin that lets him know where he/she goes, and teleport himself to their location at will without expending a lot of magic.
I read the whole exchange as deadpan sarcasm on Kazom’s part. You could also read it as a form of humblebrag. Mere mortals have no hope of escape therefore I am neither mere nor mortal.
It’s been awhile since Red really got the urge to geek out. 🙂
Did you change the scale? This strip is much larger in proportion to the rest of the page than the previous strips.
Nope, it’s just not a typical 4-panel strip, as Hollum generally draws. This one’s just three, with the third one being so full of dialog that it needed to be too large to fit on the first row.
