Bach-mann’s still dealing with outstanding issues.
So I thought I’d introduce the New Warmallet Standie. As well as a cameo of Adam and Waya from the Wolfpac comic which will start after SailorSun.org is completed.

Missing the comic and hoping for its return soon and that Bach-mann’s problems are soon in the past.
Still here and willing to wait as long as it takes. A little breadcrumb and update like this makes the wait more bearable. Thanks!
This is a nice filler. I hope you get all the assistance you need to get through this tough patch.
I waited years for the return of “Prequel” 😛 I can wait for melvin and gang forever!
Web fiction collaborations are often unstable. I don’t think at this point that Bach-Mann will come back. I’ve seen way too many fanfic and original fic series disappear in the middle of a storyline that was far from being resolved, and when more than one creator is involved, difficulties don’t just add, they multiply. Back in the Oughts I was in the middle of a really epic Sailor Moon saga when the creator of a bunch of characters who were vital to continuing the story flamed me because she didn’t like the way I was handling her darlings. So the alien invasion never happened, the televangelist who was going to betray Earth to the Aliens didn’t, and the alien’s final plan didn’t end with their home planet getting sterilized. And the biggest disappointment for me was that after cataloging at least two dozen Sailor Earths, I had finally worked up my Sailor Earth but didn’t get a chance to get her into action.
But that’s far from the worst experience I’ve had with webfiction. There was another really good Sailor Moon fanific that ended when the author suddenly *died*.
I continue to hope that Bach Mann will return because this series kept getting better and better, and because I think it was developing a closer tie-in with I Dream of a Jeanie Bottle, especially after the Blue Djinn debuted. I think the Technicolor arc was there partly to give credibility from Kazom the cranky, Lazy talking tomcat of I Dream of a Nerd to the Kazom who seems to have really been the one to defeat the Blue Djinn but had his credit stolen away by Guano. The current Jeanie arc started out as sort of Revenge of the Blue Djinn but now it seems to be drifting away with the introduction of Jehane/Jeannie II. This may be because CD doesn’t think Bach Mann will come back, or at least come back in time to set up the crossover which was going to be an important part of the Blue Djinn plot.
I’m assuming people on this forum know who and what Sailor Moon was and is, even though the original manga and the original anime finished their runs twenty years ago. Naoko Takeuchi had agreed to co-ordinate her manga with the anime, season by season. The two could be quite different in details but that’s not unusual in Japan; gives the fans of the anime an additional excuse to buy the manga to check out the differences, and vice-versa. But in the second year, Takeuchi had a dry spell before starting her second story arc (this one had the Ayakashi sisters as the opposition and a time travel/UFO theme.) So the anime producers made a short sort of mini-series built around a school play and two elf-like aliens who eventually get reformed instead of moondusted. It’s the one where Lita has “talents” in the DIC dub. I can tell you want Makoto had in the Japanese version. They weren’t talents but they certainly did stand out.
And now the point of this trip down memory lane: I suspect Jehane/Jeannie II is a device just like Ail and Ann: A character who wasn’t part of the original plan for the arc at all and whose basic function is to mark time until a way can be patched together to complete the original storyline, or if things are bad enough, cover over the arc not being completed in a way that’s consistent with the way it began.
And for you die-hard Moonies out there who’ve been out of touch, Naoko Takeuchi did two very short-lived mangas after Sailor Moon, and dropped out of sight. She married the guy who did Yu Yu Hakusho, had a son, and her son’s a teenager now.
Day 46. Still dead.
A pitty BACH-MANN seems to be lost permanently. He was outstanding, his style and colors remind me of the less flashy Fred Perry stuff but with better facial expressions. Only his story lines tend to be a bit jumpy, at two or three points in the story I simply lost the plot.
Even though I only discovered his works three days ago he will be missed.
My condolences to his family. I hope they find a replacement.
His family finds a replacement for Bach-mann…?
It was a joke. I meant the “family” of this comic that is pretty much dead for good.
I wonder what the plan for Red was. That was my favorite character.
I wonder if this will ever be continued… Is there any way for someone to kinda, help out in that department?
I am so missing this comic, I still hope for a return someday with either Bach-mann or other to take over. I just hate seeing the comic languish like this with a story unfinished.
Kazom is invading/spying on the Jeanniebottle web page….
