Kazom certainly out-bursted Melvin there.
“So, kid, wanna enlist? “
Wow, Kazom, you gotta cut back on those triple-espresso shots.
See, kid? I told you…
1: NEVER anger a Genie Lord. 2: at least we know what’s the name of Melvin’s dad. and 3: I wish they could calm down and help each other.
Kazom will calm down as soon as Mel understands what and who he is dealing with. But he cannot let the boy unthinkingly cast a spell in anger; that might rebound on both of them.
Fair enough, Melvin’s been unintentionally using his magic just by random thinking. Melvin might of “wished” for something disastrous out of anger if Kazom didn’t spook him out of his train of thought.
This reminds me of my daughters cat, a smallish black cat. One day the half-grown dalmatian puppy from across the street chased her. She ran around the side of our house and jumped up on a low wall. When the dog ran up to her she smacked him right on the nose with full claws deployed. That backed the pup up. This is what is happening, metaphorically, to Melvin. The cat has claws, it’s time you learned.
Kazom is bad ass!
Thank you. *^-^*
Every so often you just have to remind folks who you really are…
I guess that the second choice, if Melvin not going to settle down on his own, scare the shit out of him.
I was just thinking that, that shadowy guy that woke Holly up a few comic pages back could be Melvin Dad in a non compo-rial form. It was his body that died and not his spirit that died in that sacrifice. Melvin dad could still be wondering around in a non physical form in the spirit world. Which both Melvin and Kazom will eventually run into.
Giant, magical forms certainly are useful for instilling some fear and getting a serious point across.
…
Did Kazom just pull a Gandalf on Melvin?
Do not meddle in the affairs of Genie Lords, for they are subtle and quick to anger.
Pants to be darkened…
