44: Lady Verónica
I warn you all to be careful of the quiet ones! In any case, I am really sorry for the delay in today’s page, I hope you still can enjoy the official “debut” of Lady Veronica into the main cast. Also, please keep in mind that Robert hasn’t had a chance to edit this page yet, so the dialogue my get some changes later.
EDIT: Dialogue corrections have now been made. –Robert
So she’s a witch too, though her crush on Red seems genuine.
I think Verónica Cruz (not a bad name, by the way) is crushing on them both. Can’t wait to see her throw down with the Melvinauts, considering she’s probably a powerful witch despite being so young (? please let her actually be a teenager. And maybe get her love-slaved to Red if she’s a baddie, those storylines are always fun).
Also, does this mean Debbie actually has magic? Please no ice spells, you will never hear the end of the Winx Club references from me if you give her ice magic, and I’m already enough of an insufferable git as it is.
There no indication that Dabra is a witch or has any magic yet. But, that might change later on. At this point everything negotiable as to what will happen.
Prince Corwin of Amber managed to stay teenager for several centuries. Age is just number … when you are not mere human.
@Larry
Look at panel five again. She’s clearly magic. So there’s no later on, we can clearly see that she is right now.
Oh, you mean Veronica. Now she has magical powers, it obvious there. I was referring to Dabra the blond modal that Red enemy.
I wonder if they know that Red used to be a guy?
I doubt it. As far as I recall only Melvin’s crew, Red’s parents, and Kazom are the only ones who know Red used to be a guy.
I didn’t include Jeanie as I figure she completely forgot about it five seconds after she zapped Red.
Lazarra/Anning seems to have a hunch in that direction, judging by previous dialogue.
I am looking forward to seeing if Red and Deborah get dragged to the meeting involving the Azure. Or if they stumble in on it by accident.
Red would have so much to tell Melvin
