62: I Miss Shy Rose…
Apologies, as always, for the delay, it has been quite a busy week for me, and in fact, the schedule has been compromised already. I am afraid the MC will come back to a one page per week schedule. I know is frustrating, but do to my work schedule, I truly believe is the best way to keep updates constant, and in a proper quality. I am not going to pretend to have plans of coming back to a two pages per week any time soon, but I don’t dicart it entarely. Still, I hope to be produce pages of more quality from now one, to made up for that.
As for today’s page… well, Melvin may not have clear memories of his encounters with the Succubi trio, but it seems that from his perspective, they aren’t as romantic as “Rose” wants to believe…
She Who Must Not Be Named?
Panel 1: it’s or so Kazom says… and if the genies won’t help either…
Maybe it’s “wouldn’t” instead of “won’t”?
Pointy TEEF!
What a way to wake up
Aw jeez, and I thought Rose was the nice one. Hope we get a clearer version of this at some point.
Well their Succubi, so its not really in their nature to be nice.
Sure they might give you pleasure, but that’s not their goal. Its only a means to an end.
Demons always want something in exchange, ALWAYS. No matter who they are or what they look or act like.
To be fair, this is Melvin’s half-remembered version of things due to it being dreams to him. It’s pretty clear Rose has an emotional attachment to him, but filtered through the lens of dreams, pre-conceptions, and a somewhat negative experience with supernatural beings already, her infatuation appears more sinister from his perspective.
Some how I just knew it. Don’t name those Succubi or you will develop a soul link with them and then you will have a real problem on your hands. So Melvin must of dreamed it in his dream that Pink name is Rose and so we have a partial soul link her and Rose is trying to secure a full soul link here while Melvin has just woke up and still a little groggy in the head and not sure what he is agree to. She trying to secure her name while Melvin awake now.
Kazom, get over here and do something!!!
Meanwhile, people want something in exchange only ALMOST always.
So far, we have no proof those succubi are evil or something.
So what exactly DOES the name give the fae?
If I may ask?
I think that’s meant to stay a bit nebulous, for now.
My guess is that it functions like the oni in Rokugan, where the name defines them and gives them power.
