Hey kids, here we are, the first strip of the next chapter! I’m going to be trying a little faster pacing in hopes to boost the experience. I hope you enjoy it. For those of you that have been wondering about how Holly’s been doing…

Was the wizard she saw, the same one that was stalking Melvin, and talking to that white guy in the icicle thing? And did he really look like Melvin? Could there be a family reunion in the near future? And that tome Kazom was talking about, looked an awful lot like the one that Melvin now has, that belonged to his Father.
Quite a few questions to be answered!
And did Kazom successfully do a quick change of subject about his borrowing Melvin’s headset and spilling Spite on it?
You will remember that Holly has been out of it for awhile. Ever since she was transported to Saachi front door steps from Melvin bedroom. So the wizard that Holly saw was Melvin. So Holly has been in the hospital unconscious until just now.
As to who that figure that calling to Holly to wake up, we don’t know who that person is yet.
You’re right. She might have been talking about when Melvin had transported her to his bedroom. I thought she was referencing the first two panels. But I guess she only saw a vague shadow there. Good catch!
Took me a minute to remember…memory of the strip continuity fades over time…
Hence an adjustment to the pacing. This is my first strip and I’m figuring it out as I go.
Saachi is pleased to hear that Holly has been “dreaming” about Melvin–it will help her matchmaking attempts greatly.
good to see Holly again. Excellent to see her first though is of Melvin.
And very interesting to see Witch Hat bringing her out of her coma. I’m taking this as a clue that he is benevolent.
I wouldn’t count on it. He answers to a guy with freaky eyebrows after all.
