I wonder how long Melvins’ alteration of Red will last. I’d find it amusing if Red’s chest re-inflated shortly after her bra comes off.
I think I see a surprise coming or some rapid re-expansions going on. what ever that is coming it going to be a real surprise to everyone.
Since we’ve already had one crossover with El Goonish Shive, maybe all Red needs is an FV5 zap from Tedd or Ellen. Of course, with those elevated hormones and pheromones…

I don’t know if she’s shocked at learning trade secrets or the idea of going bra-less.

Well, I only speak of Red’s anatomical status. In any case, I expect the emotional reaction to Mel’s wish to play out over several strips.
Maybe, possible, I don’t know. Let me recheck my notes.

We’d know by now if Red was back to normal. For one thing, the wish didn’t say anything concerning anything but breast size, and Red’s voice would’ve been noticed.
Melvin’s wish merely backed up Red’s wish that she didn’t need a bra, and there are several ways to achieve that. Breast reduction, breast removal, accompanied or not by the reappearance of male genitalia…many different options.
And we don’t know what Red’s voice sounds like, do we? He’s a middle-schooler; his voice may not have broken yet–it can happen as late as 14 or 15.
It’s possible that Red’s crotch-grab revealed she had NOT reverted entirely to being male, and that was the cause of her distress.
We just don’t know. I very much want to find out in tomorrow’s comic; keeping this kind of thing hidden doesn’t build suspense for me; it’s just frustrating and confusing.

I’m slowly pulling my hair out with the wait, but I’m hoping it is not due to any serious problems. While I don’t want to think BACH-MANN & Shhadow are just keeping us hanging needlessly either, maybe they have been busy preparing their taxes because they waited to the last minute.
Well Melvin DID wish that Red wouldn’t have to wear a bra and now she is getting to take her bra off.
I’m reasonably sure that Red’s expression in the last panel is because he barely knows how to get one on and has no idea how Ida got hers off without removing hers shirt first.
