Apologies for the delay again, folks. That’s all on me this time. Carlos finished the page in plenty of time, but I got distracted after getting home from work.

I think “Ms. Anning’s” gonna summon something to fall on Miss Griffin’s head.
‘Your’s sister “claim” over the boy’s hand’
Shouldn’t that be
‘Your sister’s “claim” over the boy’s hand’
And Melvin is engaged ?!?!?!?
Sound like an arranged marriage type of situation. I wonder if Melvin knows about it, because, this is the first time that we have heard anything about this or was it assumed by some witches covenant before hand for Melvin or by Thomas prearrangement for his son Melvin and for his wife to be. Don’t know.
I was just thinking that it would be terrible thing if we find out that it was Red or Tiffany that they were thinking of, to be Melvin wife that they were referring too. Because, they now consider Tiffany in there area of control and influence to get to Melvin, so they can have him for themselves over the witches guilds or factions of witches that are out there, that are also trying to get Melvin too. They know that Melvin, BJ and Tiffany are the best of friends as in life long friends with each other. If that is there plans I have one question to ask. Do they know that Tiffany use to be a boy by the name of Clarence or do they even care about that, because, it doesn’t effect there ultimate goal of getting Melvin for themselves? Because, this won’t be the first time that an arrange marriage were made to get wealth and/or power to get what someone wants and it won’t be the last time either. This could be a last minute battle plan for these witches for getting what they want and for doing what they want to do too.
Second thought, forget about what I just wrote above, it a really crazy idea and it way out there too!
Ugh, I knew something was wrong with that line! I couldn’t see it because of that weird mental issue with line breaks in speech bubbles.
I’ll fix it when I get home.
Three girls here. 1. Red Tiffany, 2. Holly and 3. our Miss Le Fanu
@gary: Okay… technically there are more girls than just those three, but I am curious now. What do Red, Holly and Clarice have in common?
how could I forget number four. Our beloved Rose. He named her Rose.
… we need cast page upgrade. It’s getting hard to follow story with so many names.
I know. We will work on that as soon as this chapter is done.
Custody hearing? Is “Ms. Anning” trying to take custody of Melvin away from Melvin’s mom?
She is definitely trying to get control over Melvin, but, whether it an out right take Melvin from his mom, is currently unclear at this point. They could also be trying to get control over Melvin by an arranged marriage too, which might be an end run around trying to take Melvin in a Court battle, instead of taking Melvin away from Susan, Melvin mom. This is hint of them trying an arranged Marriage operation here.
Arranged marriage is a long-game strategy, though–I don’t think that the witches are powerful enough to openly flaunt the age restrictions on marriage imposed by the Muggle government, so they would have to wait until he and the prospective wife are 18 to finalize it.
The building just needs a man with a pitchfork and a woman standing in front of it to be a good “American Gothic.”
They all have one thing in common…Melvin
