Kazom is a 3,000 year old genie. In order to conserve power and thereby extend his life, Kazom does as little magic as possible. He is bound in the form of the Clark family's cat and mostly just lays around Melvin's Room.
So, Green is Moe, huh? Makes sense, since Honey was a genius. Gonna guess that Rose is Larry and Yellow is Curly, then. Though if my Stoogology is wrong here, someone please correct me.
Also, hold up. These three nimrods work for Kazom? This could prove interesting, especially since it’s painting him in a far less favorable light than he appeared earlier. I mean, he’s definitely giving off an “ends justify the means” vibe that I never got before. Plus, that bit about Red in Panel 4 seems to imply . . . things, though I’m not sure what kind of things, exactly.
Oh, and Robert? I suspect you meant “lot to say” in the intro, not “lot to day”.
Curly was the first of the three to have to leave (I believe for medical reasons) Curly Joe and Shemp, both replacements were related to Moe in some fashion. Larry was the only one who wasn’t a member of the Howard family.
But I remember Curly very well, The B&W shorts used to play on the TV every afternoon.
I think this isn’t so much “ends justify the means” as “desperate times calls for desperate measures”. It’s not like he has some nefarious plan: he’s doing his best to PROTECT the boy … boy who overestimates his abilities and doesn’t care about dangers around (seems that Kazom tried to explain, possibly repeatedly). And his options are quite limited …
… also, these succubi seem not to be dangerous demons. Just from the fact he has three inside him who knows how long without any visible effect we can assume they wouldn’t be dangerous even if they would be competent. Which they don’t seem to be. It’s normal for teenager to have sexy dreams and these should’ve just ensured it would be pleasant sexy dreams without dangerous ideas … unfortunately it seems he’s shy and scared of girls even in his own dreams.
From what we’ve seen Kazom his explanations kind of suck. They are vague and tend to leave out important details. Saying something is dangerous without explaining WHY it is dangerous is the equivalent of saying “because I said so” as an explanation goes it tends to only work on children. He gives vague mentions of the coven being a threat without out explaining why. His half-baked answers are predictably met with half-baked compliance.
@Ben: There is possibility he can deliver better explanations offscreen (or at least longer). In any case, he’s likely unaware that he might have better results if he explained better, and possibly isn’t able to do so anyway (he isn’t used to speaking to teenagers) … meaning, it doesn’t change how desperate he is.
Also, teenager. It is possible that even better explanation wouldn’t help. Teenagers are not exactly known for being careful.
I am going to go with Three Stooges of these three succubus. I think it will add crazy twist to this story too. Gee, you can’t get good help these days and you only have three dumb asses to pick from. Kazom must really be getting desperate if this is all he has to pick from. I take it, this is Kazom plan B, plan A was trying to reason with Melvin by talking to him. Gee, I sure Kazom has a plan C or he in big trouble when it comes to containing Melvin attempt to turn Red back into a guy again.
> Oh, and Robert? I suspect you meant “lot to say” in the intro, not “lot to day”.
Fixed. I blame the fact that I posted this page on my way out the door to work. To which I was an hour late, because I didn’t want to have this go up after I got home, which would be an entire day after the intended release.
Sweet dreams and denial are just band-aids at best, not like forgetting briefly about your concerns will fix or even tend to them. Kazom clearly seems to want Melvin to forget about these problems and promises, both physical and psychological, but it seems to be more for his convenience, not just for Melvin’s protection. It’s like he doesn’t want to take responsibility for what happened with Clarence aka Red.
Kazom was responsible for letting Jean disappear back home before “she” was properly trained by HIM. He clearly knew that Jean was a complete noob with genie rules, broken several in just one day and should’ve had expected that she would needed to stay longer to clean up “her” messes. Instead he lets Jean go just to annoy a hated past associate of his with what seems to be no way of contacting Jean again afterwards. It seems unless it’s been promised or out of duty, Genies don’t show a real sense of responsibility over what they do.

You left out Shep and Joe, more Stooges to choose from.
I went with the three I thought most people would know. Shemp is less well-known than the Big Three, and Joe and Curly Joe are practically unknown.

Tldr; Poor comminication kills

Thank you. Finally someone else is calling out Kazom!
The Green one seems more like an anti-Saachi to me and in terms of Stoogology seems more Larry-like and Yellow seems more like Moe YMMV.
Ah. I was basing my guess on Green apparently being the boss, hence Moe.
No, this my hand will rather the multitudinous seas incarnadine, making the green one red.

Carlos, you do Shakespeare!
Shouldn’t’a asked for “the smart one” to answer. That could be a contest with no winners.
Hey, the Stooges never once hired themselves. That is a sure sign of intelligence right there.
I think Yellow and Rose might have picked each other’s roles if the goal was to make Melvin think more about being with his girlfriend.
