Kazom is a 3,000 year old genie. In order to conserve power and thereby extend his life, Kazom does as little magic as possible. He is bound in the form of the Clark family's cat and mostly just lays around Melvin's Room.
Oh, dear here we go! I have seen this kind of stuff before. You start off doing something you shouldn’t have done and get something you didn’t want to get. Then make a counter spell to get rid of some you didn’t want the first time and get something worse than what you got for the first spell you made. Now you need a counter counter spell to counter the second spell to counter the first spell and on it goes into forth or fifth counter spell. I think I see a pattern here.
@He Who Abides, he didn’t say it was dead. There a big difference from killing something and causing it to change into another form. Melvin tell us it isn’t frog monster anymore and Kazom tell us that isn’t butterfly either. What they didn’t tell us was what it turned into or whether it is still living or whether it dead. The only thing that we know right now, is that it turned into something else other than a Frog Monster or Butterfly and that expression on Kazom face is horrified at what he seeing.
Now it anyone opinion or guess as to what Kazom looking at and what causing that horrified look on Kazom face.
So out of pure curiosity are you guys going to update the character portraits to reflect the new artist and their style? Also I love how cartoony they look, itโs awesome.
Glad you like the style! to be honest is still a work in progress while I get used to draw this characters.
In regards updating the portraits, I have thought about it, but I think is still to soon for that. Right now there are 160 pages plus some extras with their original design, not to mention all the characters that I still have to reintroduce in this new style, so changing the portraits may be confusing for new readers or anyone who is just coming back.
None the less, we may still have to update the character page in the future once there are enough pages showcasing the new design of each character, plus the introduction of some new ones.
It’s not a bad idea, but for now I am not familiar enough with the management of the site to know if it’s feasible, I would need to consult with Robert or CD about it, and as I said, it’s still to early for that, I would like to reintroduce at least half of the cast or have a sizable amount of new characters on the new style before reworking the cast page.
Panel 1: “when did you learn to cast curses to begin with?”
Fixed.
It’s dead, Jim.

And it not dead, it just changed form!
“I find your lack of faith disturbing…”
Oh, wait… No I don’t… nevermind. Plus I’m not sure how to do the Jedi neck thing over the internet.
i didnt know they have internet in Narnia. Or did you get deployed some were else?
Ran a Cat5 though the wardrobe. But there’s a crazy amount of interference.
@Larry – judging by Kazom’s facial expression, I think the form-change killed the butterfrog.

Any guess or opinion as to what Kazom looking at:
Here is the only clue I’m going to give… I honestly don’t know.
Melvin “Spent the whole summer learning”? Learning from WHO? And Kazom was unaware of this? What the hell went on while we weren’t watching?
A couple of things.
That blond girl in the poster behind them looks like it could be Honey. lol
It’s possible. Melvin had some posters in his room of Honey before, if I recall.
However, If our cast has remained the same, it’s equally possible that it’s Ida…dressed as Honey.
You’ll get a better view of that poster next week. ๐

Is there a way to have two pictures for them on the cast page so you have both styles present for them there?
