Ida is really on the ball when it comes to protecting Red. She’s more of a mother than Red’s actual mother.

Who says he had to infiltrate? Maybe Desiree called him. She appears to be a genie and neither she nor her master appear to be fans of the Blue Djinn. “Hey, K-man? I kinda got a witch problem here and I know you’re an expert on the subject….”
Maybe Kazom got possession of the Quat Uzma through the fiendish expedient of… asking for it?

I would assume he can just appear next to them no matter where they are.
This seems possible. He *is* Melvin’s genie, after all.
@Robert: That didn’t seem to be the case during the prom fiasco, it appeared that Jeanie had to look for Natalie. At least, that’s how it was worded.
Jeanie was never Melvin’s genie. She was Kazom’s student. And even if she were, she’s untrained, and thus would likely not know *how* to auto-locate he master.
