I’m pretty sure that panel 4 refers to that anti-witch organization, the Imposition, that was causing so much trouble at the end of Bach-Mann’s run on the comic. Having shut down the gang’s favorite hangout.
Which now makes we wonder, did we ever get officially told what was kept from that last chapter as TMC canon? I think it was mentioned that only the captured familiar remained and the plot was abandoned.
In any case I hope we haven’t seen the last of Van-man and the House of the Rising Fun.
