I wish this scenario didn’t sound so bloody plausible.

I wonder how many boys with no dads feel the same way.
And I’ll say it: I wonder how many of them kinda wish they were girls so Mom would acknowledge them.
But, Red does have a living dad, but, he wanted a girl too. I don’t think much of Red mother. I am with Red on this one, I don’t know if it wouldn’t be better to be ignored too. I think it would be easier to accept and deal with. Being hated, especially by your parents, is really hard to deal with, because, that where most people get there idea of what there net worth is as a person.

True for Red, but I was speaking of real-world boys. Single moms predominate these days, and many are single because they have been taught that men are piscine velocipedes.
“Emm”? So does that make Mrs. Thornton’s name “Emma”, or “Emily”?
Yay for 1 year! I’m also looking forward to the 100th comic later on this year . . . 😉
I just had a thought. Remember when Jeanie brifiely transformed them into different forms, only for a second sneeze to change them back? What if that second sneeze gave them abilities related to their favorite character class without their knowledge?

Poor Red and i can’t blame em for hating Jean.
However you can tell one bright spot in Red’s life: Saachi.
She’s obviously in love with (him) her & would want nothing better than to be with Red.
That alone might be Red’s salvation.
Holly really likes Mel. A lot.
In love or in lust? And I don’t think we know enough about Saatchi to be sure that Red would like her. Or love or lust, whatever.
I like “Mel” as a nick for our wizard. “Melvin” sounds nerdish to me; “Mel” is stronger.
I don’t know, i’d say it’s Ida that’s the bright spot in Red’s life.
Bach-Mann:Nice group shot, by the way.
I see a rather determined Holly with her arm around Mel’s neck, and her hand on BJ’s shoulder. This is a harbinger of…something, yes?
Looking forward to Red in something like her Mom’s dress. Wowzers, no wonder Mom hates her; she’s jealous.
And Saatchi: she’s got a slightly goofy expression as she gazes at Red. I think she really is smitten.
That hand on BJ’s shoulder is clearly Melvin’s. Look at his left arm and elbow.
Oh my gosh, you’re right. That means that Holly is claiming Mel, and Mel only.
