Hey kids, the grass isn’t always greener, but the magic sure is!
Wow, it’s an emotional time above, but don’t let emotions distract you from casting your vote!
We’ll see you on Tuesday, have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
BACH-MANN & Shhadow
Is “Clarence” Red? ‘Cause I don’t remember his guy first name coming up before…’course it’s been a while now.
Yes. Clarence was Red’s name before he became Tiffany.
Clarence? Wow, Red just made a lateral move with the names as the parents must have really hated him as a boy or were buttering up to a rich relative.
I don’t know if his parents hatted Clarence, but, they definitely wanted a girl instead of a boy. Because, they had there own plans of what they wanted to do and it included having a girl and not a boy. Because, Red is both a model with a fairly high paying job to showing off women cloths and they sending her to an all girls school too so she can learn to be more of a lady.
There into themselves and what they want over above anything else, than what in the interest of there son or daughter in this case. There may be some father/Mother emotion to Clarence or Red, but it very twisted and selfish in nature.
Yelp! Now BJ having an identity crises. Which make you wonder if he would rather be the girl or the wizard. I guess, BJ coming to the knowledge that he not the playboy that he thought he was, is having a serious effect on BJ.
All bobble have to pop sooner or later!
Because it was not him, BJ just sees that Red became a really hot looking girl, and not the negatives that she never wanted that to happen. And that Melvin has all that power now, and not that he doesn’t know how to use it and has problems due to this. Short message, he is seeing only the pluses with his friends and due to Melvin’s wish has had his eyes opened to his own failings, but he has not noticing any of his pluses.
BJ has essentially has “Xander Syndrome” for any Buffyholics out there. All his friends are having these big important life changing events happen, becoming super powerful or super cool(in BJ’s opinion) and he’s starting to feel left behind, a footnote to their “story”. Sometimes, (like in the case of Xander) you deal with it and can move forward. Other times (like in the case of Smallville’s Pete Ross), you decide you can’t deal with it and bail. It’ll be interesting to see which way BJ goes.
Ooooo are we going to see BJ’s character be expanded on!? We now know he has a sister. (or did we know that already?) He’s been sort of an “also there” for a while.
nice double feature on the comic.
Why does Melvin have to buy a condom every day or so?
And suffocate in a giant condom? Have I forgotten something?
(Melvin gets a new condom every month because Mom knows she’s raising a boy, and a boy should always have a condom handy just in case. )
Are they small, medium, or large?
Standard condom sizes are Large, Gigantic, and OhMyGod.
It’s been reported that the early astronauts were fitted with condoms as part of a urine capture system, after Shepherd shorted out his bio-telemetry when his morning coffee insisted on early release due to unexpected launch delays.
Correct sizing was crucial to avoid leaks and other problems, but there was apparently a distinct ego problem with getting anything other than the largest size. (Yeah, I know, astronauts with egos, go figure.)
Yeah, that was a great scene in “The Right Stuff.” To this day, I can think of all of them, sitting around in Mission Control, thinking about Shepard and his problem, and laughing…
When he was practicing a “protection spell” under Kazom’s tutelage, he ended up inside a giant condom. (unfortunately, the comics aren’t indexed by number so it’s hard to point you to it) Anyway, presumably, his mother gives him a new condom every month and wants the old one back to not have an old and unreliable one in circulation, especially with her son. Or, maybe she just wants to know if he used it. Either way, if his spell used his condom from his pocket to enlarge to full human size then he wants to replace it so he does not have to explain to his mom where it went. He does not have to buy one every month.
I remember when condoms were kept behind the pharmacy counter and you had to go ask for them. They were one size fits all in those days, but once they came out on display the marketing took over and “magnums” and other such “sizes” were born.
“When he was practicing a “protection spell” under Kazom’s tutelage, he ended up inside a giant condom.”
Ah, right right right. Thanks.
Finally, a relatable character. It’s an interesting perspective to me… What exactly does one do when their friends are having grand adventures and you are stuck working in a snack bar. Ignorance would be bliss to think everyone else’s life was just like yours… But he has seen more now. I don’t think Melvins attempt to cheer him up though takes away that… At least being a wizard makes him special. I hope the guy finds something to be.
