It’s also a minor cliffhanger, because we unfortunately have to announce a short hiatus for The Melvin Chronicles. Carlos tried to build up enough of a buffer to cover his entire trip to Texas, but his job picked up right before he left, and he just didn’t quite have enough time.
You all won’t be waiting long, though. We expect The Melvin Chronicles to return some time in late January.
it’s been a LOONNG Time since we saw Kazom’s true form.
Given that Hypnos is apparently a dreamscape, his form reflects his self-image, I think.
Oooh! Kazom is a LOT better looking as a genie than as a cat! Damn!

Okay, that’s enough melodrama, I suppose. I can be patient. Also, cool to see Kazom as he was always intended. Wonder if he’s ever going to be like this in the real world again.
Yeah, believe me guys, I am truly sorry for this hiatus, I tried to get everything ready before my trip, but I got a job I simply couldn’t refuse, and this is as far as I could go, still, is a pretty nice cliffhanger don’t you think?
None the less, this hiatus should only last a couple of weeks, a month at worst, and similar to the one at Jeanie Bottle you can expect some extra content to be updated here each week until we got back in schedule, so please, look forward for those, and sorry for all the troubles!
You really don’t have to apologize for doing the work you get paid for. Getting any work that actually pays keeps getting harder and harder. I’m grateful you do this for your fans at all.

Kazom’s tired; he should take off his clothes and relax on the bed in the background. Although it looks like there’s someone in it already; maybe Nellah?
Kazom is obviously having a daydream of what he use to look like. I wonder if we will see Nellah in his dream too when he use to be in human form. Now would be a good time to give us some back story of what happened back then and bring us up to speed as to what going on now too.

DId you forget about Susan, Melvin’s mom? A definite candidate for the woman of Kazom’s dreams.

Not at all… but Nellah promised to have a “special surprise” for Kazom. So I suspect that any piece of tail that he gets in Hypnos will be more literal than he’d like.
Beside that, I think I see a tail sticking out on the pillow on the bed behind Kazom too. So I am going with Kattgirl on this one Tom. I was just thinking since this is a dream of when Kazom was still a guy, could this be the enchantment that turned Kazom into a cat genie by Nellah. Now that would be an interesting twist to the story.
Isn’t anyone wondering what the horn on the pillow has to do with Nellah’s surprise?
While it could be a tail but it seems too thin to go with the bulky lump under the blanket. I think Nellah has a weird dream avatar/self image.
